Provision of a centralized telephone, radio, facsimile and telex service ADOC HQ on a continuous 7-day. 24 hour basis,. Emergency Response Center during an emergency situation at any operating site.
Act as the main communication center of ADOC and off shore station Mubarraz island, central facility platform, work boats, rigs and supply vessel.
Continuous radio monitoring on HF,SSB, VHF Marine and Ground to air radio channel and attending all incoming and outgoing radio calls.
Monitor hot lines connected to ADOC operating sites and attending the Emergency Response Center (ERC) telephone calls in the absence of the Emergency Duty Officer (EDO)
Attend telephone calls to HQ Radio Room Emergency Number and switchboard after working hours (Night Service).
Interconnection of calls between HQ and vessel through a radio-telephone patch system.
Initiation of prompt action in any emergency situation reported from an offshore site or vessel.
Reporting of emergencies to the Emergency Duty Manager (EDM) and initiation of ERC activities by informing the EDO or ERC team member, whoever arrives first.
Provision of assistance to the EDM/EDO during emergency situation.
Preparation of reports on emergency activities to HSE.
Coordination with UEA Coast Guard during search and rescue operation in ADOC fields.
Coordination with other OPCOs and Oil Companies during an ADESCO emergency.
Answer any queries received round the clock and direct them to the concerned person/section.
Take weather observation from all fields and pass them to Central Forecasting Office of the Metrological Department.
Forward the weather forecast received from the Central Forecasting Office to the various offshore site and ADOC working vessel.
In case of any meteorological warning, pass it to offshore sites and vessel with utmost priority..
Taking flight bookings / cancellations during non office hours and pass them to ADOC Traffic Officer upon his arrival at his office.
Change voice recorder disk every day, log accordingly and monitor for any alarms.
Report telephone / telecom system alarms to the concerned engineer for necessary action.
Coordination with site, hospital, on call duty medical officer and HSE department during offshore medical evacuation.
Checking and monitoring of hot lines with the Oilfield Security Department.
Coordination with duty maintenance officer for any housing maintenance requirements after working hours.
Received faxes through the Right fax system and distribute them to the request addressee via email.
Process and send official national and international faxes after confirming the authorized signatory and registration.
Send telex message to oil tankers, agent and other parties according to Company regulation.
Maintain telex / fax documentation for future reference.

. Follow up responding units and give more information, if needed.
. Get all the details from chief fire officer on the incident.
. Coordinate Civil Defense for possible assistance, if needs.
. Inform department concern and specially Port Director General.
. Maintains shift log book at radio/access control room and to ensure that all control room ancillary equipment is fully operated.

. To control the arriving and departing vessel and get all information.
. Arrange tugs and pilot for the incoming and outgoing vessel.
. Inform safety officer for safety inspection.
. Inform coast guard there is an incoming and outgoing vessel w/ complete details of cargoes.
. Keep informing harbor master and berth supervisor the incoming and outgoing vessel, especially the position.
. Inform safety department if there are un usual movement, especially strong winds comes.
