Qualifications and Duties
* Superior communication skills with co-workers, as well as coordinate and manage assigned Personnel on a large scale.

* Professional understanding of Microsoft Office and other equivalent computer programs.

* In depth knowledge of oil, gas and mineral leases and Land related functions.
* Research title information, determine current ownership in properties and prepare title ownership reports for the purpose of conducting well trades, participating in new well deals, acquisitions and divestitures.
* Communicate and direct Lease Brokers in obtaining title information, Oil and Gas Leases, and title curative for property acquisitions.
* Knowledge of Oil and Gas, Division Order and Title Analysis, State and Federal Regulatory requirements pertinent to the Land Department functions.
* Prepare Assignments, Farmout Agreements, Letters-in-Lieu, Oil and Gas Leases, Surface Leases, Right-of-Way Agreements, Releases of Oil & Gas Leases,
Joint Operating Agreements and various other agreements applicable to the ownership and operations of properties.
* Research and prepare various agreements associated with company owned gathering systems and other facilities.
* Work with Field Engineers and other Landmen in resolving land owner's issues.
* Negotiate easements, surface leases and right of way agreements.
* Organize, prioritize and implement all phases of work and projects within the land department.
* Resolve title issues including any Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Indian Affairs, or any State or other regulatory agencies having jurisdiction over the property in question relative to the ownership and operations of our properties.
* Represent the Company at closings and conduct the due diligence phase of the property acquisitions.
