SUMMARY:
I have been in the I.T. field for the past 9 years. In the last 2 years I have acquired good knowledge in setting up regional offices with windows Server 2003 & Server 2008 at Goa and Pune respectively. From acquiring hardware (Dell Server & Dell PCs) to Leased line connectivity. Maintaining Inventory for both locations and sending MIS to the Head I.T. Firewall and Router configuration. Selecting vendors for A.M.C. & Hardware/Software purchases. I.T. Policy implementation. I have knowledge of an ERP designed for Real Estate Company called In4Suite product of In4Velocity Systems. I have hands on knowledge of AS/400 based applications (DB2, RPG/400 & CL/400 beginner level) and configuration of Client Access and AS/400 Administration/Operations. Earlier I have worked as System Administrator for Windows2000 Advanced Server/ Windows 2003 Server and Lotus Notes Server Version 6.5. I have worked as Support Engineer for about a year in the field of installation and configuration of Email Gateway Solutions (MDAEMON & CALYPSO), windows based applications and HCL PCs.
OBJECTIVE:
Seeking a career with a progressive organization where I can utilize my skills, knowledge and experience in management, operations and purchasing in a challenging role that allows for advancement and growth. Selecting vendors for A.M.C. & Hardware/Software purchases. Network Management, checking of Leased line connectivity between Goa-Mumbai & Pune-Mumbai. Configuration of various softwares. I.T. Policy implementation. ERP(specific for real estate) query handling and implementation. User training on ERP. Checking of Broadband connectivity for Goa & Pune. Monitoring Internet usage. Configuration of SonicWALL hardware firewall. Escan Antivirus updation on Server/Client on daily basis. Router Configuration. MIS reporting to Head IT.

Description: System administration, Helpdesk activities, Programming in Access97/2000 and
Hardware maintenance. AMC handling, procurement of new Hardware/Software. Network
Management, checking of Leased line and ISDN line connectivity. ERP (In-house ERP for Zydus Cadila Group Companies) query handling and implementation. User training on ERP. Lotus Notes Administration / Clients configuration. Monitoring Internet usage. Symantec Anti-virus updation on Server/Client on daily basis.
Environment: 1 Windows Server 2003, 1Windows2000 Advanced Server, 60 HP/Compaq/Zenith Client PCs.
3)Employer: Oman International Bank, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Oct 2000 – Nov 2003
Position Title: E.D.P. Executive.
Description: Operational/Administration Activities on AS/400, LAN (NOVELL & WINDOWS NT/2K). Administration of S.W.I.F.T.Alliance Entry 4.10, CCMail & Internet. Familiar with backup procedures on Novell(ARCserve6), WindowsNT & AS/400 systems. Configuring PC's on different platforms (Novell & Windows NT) & helpdesk activities.
Environment: 3 AS/400 Servers, 1 WinNT Server, 2 Win2K Servers, 1 Novell Netware 4.11 Server, 51 IBM/Compaq PCs.
4)Employer: Berger Paints India Ltd., Kundaim, Goa, India. March 2000 September 2000
Position Title: Systems Analyst.
Description: System administration of WINNT 4.0 server. Installation of NT 4.0 server with
Raid-5, client machines with Windows95 as the O.S., SCO Open Server 5.0.5.Installation of
Informix software, Lotus CC-Mail and an E.R.P. (CHEMPAX). ERP (ERP for Manufacturing) query handling and implementation. User training on ERP. Daily Backup of software as well as Databases.
Environment: 15 Wipro PCs, Windows NT Server 4.0, Informix, SCO UNIX 5.0.5., CCMail Server Ver.8, E.R.P.(CHEMPAX).
5)End Client: Ciba Specialty Chemicals, Corlim, Goa, India. June 1999 to March 2000
Employer: Quartet Enterprises, Panaji, Goa, India.
Position Title: System Administrator
Description: Used to work on contract basis for CIBA SPECIALTY on the payroll of Quartet Enterprises. Job involved, System Administration on WINNT 4.0 Server, hardware as well as software support. Hardware support included maintenance of IBM PC's & Network functionality. Software support included installation of NT Workstations, installation and configuration of MSMAIL, Lotus Notes and Client Access for AS/400 connectivity.
Environment: 45 IBM Machines, Windows NT 4.0, MS SQL Server 6.5, VSAT, AS/400 Server.
6) Employer: Virtualweb Servers Pvt. Ltd. Margao, Goa, India. June 1998 to Dec. 1998
