Procured sufficient equipment, services, materials and personnel and loaded a vessels at Equatorial Guinea for an offshore project off Cameroon West Africa on a very short notice mobilization period
In Douala, Cameroon, organized a supply base, imported with Customs all essential materials, supply vessels and an import of a semi-submersible drilling rig for a well in up to 1000 meters of water
Put in place service contracts for well and land operations
The drilling rig was an anchor handling system so the AHS vessels had to have the capability of pulling and setting 15 ton anchors in such depths
A part of my responsibilities were to arranged all accommodation, meals, transportation, short term labour contracts for national personnel, organized all letters of invitations and meet and greets for all company and 3rd party personnel
All subsequent imports and exports of equipment and personnel were finalized working to the local Customs controls
The procurement of all drilling fluids, diesel with local represented down stream oil companies, daily vessel movements, all personnel crew changes both with crew boats and helicopters
Chartering private aircraft for personnel and equipment movements
All office management duties until the financial controller arrived
A final inventory adjustment within the rented warehouse, and the re-exportation of all such 3rd party equipment, company owned materials equipment and the re-exportation of the drilling rig with the supply vessels and all associated equipment
Noble Energy Equatorial Guinea 2006 – 2008
Logistics Manager
For a five well drilling program as a resident in Malabo Equatorial Guinea
* Procured and put contracts in place for fuels, tubulars, equipment and services.
* Organised all personnel movements by both helicopter and international carriers. Moving all materials and equipment from the Malabo base to the offshore facility.
* Expediting all movements, clearing of materials through Customs setting up inventory control for both offshore blocks
* Set up a supply base and drilling office, hired personnel, put contracts in place for vehicles, accommodation and shipping agents for the importation and exportation of tubulars and associated drilling materials
* Put contracts in place for drilling services and personnel completed letters of invitations for incoming personnel and chartering of fixed wing and helicopters for the drilling campaigned
* Organised the companies F.C.P.A policies to conform to USA laws
* All achieved within two months of rigs arrival
First Africa Oil –London / Gabon, West Africa 2005 – 2006
Materials & Logistics Manager
Engaged to procure and initiate Service and Material Contracts and purchases for a multi- well program for Gabon
* Sent out service contract invitations to major service companies from London based head office. Completed the award of all contracts before going to Gabon
* Receiving all materials delivered to Gabon for start of programme within 3 months and before the arrival of the jack up rig for a four well programme.
Nexen Petroleum Equatorial Guinea, West Africa 2003 - 2005
Logistics Superintendent
Set up a base and the importation of materials for a two well drilling program using a semi-submersible anchor handling rig in 800 meters of water and a dynamic positioned drill ship in up to 1500 metres of water.
* Responsible for all material procurement and inventory control, for all personnel movements to and from the well locations and all imports and exports of equipment and materials were successfully executed.
* Ensured HS&E good working practises were adhered to

Shore Base Manager
For an offshore production facility in 770 mtrs of water using three offshore drilling rigs, (two semi-submersibles) and one drill ship and getting production from the offshore vessel from one year of discovery.
* Headed up the materials and logistics group with expatriate and national subordinates for three deep water rigs and an FPSO operation.
* Set up the operational material controls system which closely monitored the inventory level for both the drilling and the production operations.
* Responsible for arranging the importing all equipment and tubulars via ocean going vessels and chartering air freighters purchasing, contracts, inspection control, supply vessel contracts, fixed wing and helicopter chartering for movements of all personnel.
* Chemical storage and associated equipment for FPSO use
Global Marine Integrated Services – Equatorial Guinea, West Africa 1998

For one turnkey offshore well for Marathon Petroleum
Responsible for ensuring all equipment and service personnel were at the location in a timely manner.
* Chartered supply vessels, rented equipment and personnel and managed all logistics to maintain an efficient and cost effective operation.

Materials Consultant
Was sent to Singapore to procure enough equipment and materials to drill a one well contract offshore India
Loaded out the said materials on a freighter and met the vessel in Chennai and offloaded the cargo and put to storage
Prior to the arrival of this vessel went to New Delhi and successfully arranged the licence for the imports of such materials, supply vessels, survey vessels and associated equipment
Using a jack up rig successfully drilled and tested this well and completed the operation by taking a final inventory and arranged for the disposition of such equipment
