- Set up, verify, approve and maintain accurate records on all Division leaseholds from acquisition to divestiture or expiration.
- Set up, verify, approve and maintain accurate records on all well assets and tie producing properties to appropriate leases.
- Process changes in leasehold ownership, as required. Secure appropriate documentation for all ownership changes.
- Maintain well cross-reference on the lease records for new well completions, shut-ins, recompletions and abandonments.
- Calculate interest and verify title for leases, mineral deeds, conveyances and assignments.
- Coordinate activities with other Lease Records personnel related to adhering to lease requirements.
- Set up Joint Operating Agreements, Assignments, Confidentiality Agreements, Broker
Licensing Agreements and all other Land related contracts or agreements.
- Generate monthly reports to Landmen relating to pay recommendations/lease obligations and lease expirations.
- Verify leasehold status and obligations for rentals/minimum royalties and shut-in royalties on a monthly basis. Ascertain that all information is accurate for the timely payment of all obligations.
- Monitor leases to ensure rentals and other leasehold payments are made in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update existing records for accuracy and record standards.
- Communicate with various sources on property related information, as needed.
- Oversee the research, analysis, and maintenance of oil and gas agreements, including ownership set up of new agreements in the land system.
- Respond to inter-departmental requests, particularly from Legal, Engineering,
Accounting and Geophysical departments.
- Develop and maintain network relationships with government agencies, lessors, mineral owners and partners.

- Set up, verify, approve and maintain accurate records on all Division leaseholds from acquisition to divestiture or expiration in the Land Information System (LIS).
- Set up, verify, approve and maintain accurate records on all well assets in the Asset
Ownership system (AO) and tie producing properties to appropriate leases.

- Communicate with various sources on property related information as needed.
- Research and complete special projects as required.
- Assist in training new employees as needed.

System, Business Information Directory and PeopleSoft).

- Integrate and maintain Onshore Scout database.
- Prepare Onshore and Offshore Scout tickets.
- Code Invoices.
- Sort and distribute mail, correspondence, faxes and deliveries.
