Project Description: Engineering and Construction Management of Thailand’s first natu-ral gas import pipeline; 240 km. of NPS 42 pipe with associated metering and operations facilities. Project was completed on schedule despite intense political and environmental protests.

• Prepared the Joint Venture’s Bid Submission for provision of consulting services, and participated in the negotiation of contract award.
• Prepared tender documents, bid evaluations, and negotiated contracts for supply of line pipe, and for pipeline and facilities construction.
• Managed contractual matters, including settlement of change orders, claims and dis-putes.
• Coordinated resolution of critical project issues.
• Developed and implemented audit and verification plans for monitoring of contractor contractual compliance.

• Lead the project team in the development and implementation of quality systems to manage and monitor the performance of the appointed EPC Contractor.
• Performed systematic audits of the EPC Contractor, their subcontractors and vendors, and the project management team, to judge conformance to contractual requirements.
• Managed contractual matters; negotiated settlements of change orders and claims.
