The platform is designed for Gas flow rate of 4.7 MMSCMD. The produced gas/ condensate and water are directed into 18" multiphase & 4" sea pipeline respectively to Baltim East existing platform.
* PETROBEL (AGIP), PETRECO MARINE OIL TREATMENT PLANT – DEBOTTLENECKING STUDY (2005 to date).
Responsible for project management to perform a techno-economic study.
* GUPCO (BP), M1/M36 & M1/M3 WATER INJECTION OFFSHORE PIPELINES (2005 to date).
Responsible for project management of Engineering & Procurement Services of two (2) new water injection offshore pipelines. A 20" pipeline to connect M1 & M36 offshore platforms. Another 8" pipeline to connect M1 & M3 offshore platforms.
* GUPCO (BP), M1/M36 INTERFIELD 16" OFFSHORE PIPELINE (2005 to date).
Responsible for project management of Engineering & Procurement Services of a new oil offshore pipeline connecting M1 & M36 offshore platforms. The new pipeline is an alternative oil export route in case the pipeline to Ras Shoukhier failed.
* PETROBEL (AGIP), TEMSAH NW2 OFFSHORE PLATFORM & ASSOCIATED SEALINES (2005 to date).
Responsible for managing a taskforce to review Basic Design (done by ENI), perform Detailed Engineering & Procurement Services for a new 12-slot offshore platform located in Nile Delta offshore Mediterranean Sea in 85 meters water depth. The platform is designed for Gas flow rate of 10 MMSCMD and Condensate of 3000 SCMD. The Gas, Condensate and Production Water are conveyed into 24", 10" and 4" sea pipelines respectively of 2 Km length each.
* PETROBEL (AGIP), ANSHUGA OFFSHORE FIELD DEVELOPMENT (2005 to date).
Responsible for managing a taskforce to review Basic Design (done by ENI); perform Detailed Engineering & Procurement Services for a new 4-slot tripod offshore platform located offshore Mediterranean Sea in 25 meters water depth. The project also comprised 18" sea line of about 6 Km length to transport produced gas to existing PLEM.
* CTIP Oil & Gas, CPR Pilot Project (2004).
Responsible for project management of a pilot project to perform Detailed Engineering & Procurement Services of a 700 bbl/d CPR (Continuous Pipe Reactor) for catalytic hydrogenation of heavy oils & residues within the Suez Oil Refinery. The plant consists of central core, other auxiliaries, feeds, and utilities.
* GEISUM OIL COMPANY, UPGRADING OF WPA & WPB OFFSHORE PLATFORMS (2004 – 2005).

JOB TITLE: Project Engineering Manager (July 1995 - to Feb. 2004)
Responsible for management, planning, proposals & estimates, technical evaluation and selection of vendors/ subcontractors, project Q/C and EMS fulfillment, overall review of engineering deliverables and coordination between multi-disciplinary engineering staff, communicating with clients and vendors, reporting project status to company management. Work included:
* UNITED GAS DERIVATIVES COMPANY (BP, IEOC AND GASCO), NGL STORAGE & EXPORT FACILITIES (2001 -- 2004).
Responsible for technical and engineering management of turnkey US$ 100 millions project to engineer, design, procure, construct and start-up of Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) export terminal. The onshore facilities of the terminal included two (2) refrigerated propane storage full containment tanks of 30,000 cubic meters each, reception facilities, refrigeration package, utilities, buildings and supporting infrastructures.
The terminal included also marine jetty to accommodate seagoing vessels ranging from 20,000 to 80,000 cubic meter capacity with refrigerated marine loading arms. Reviewed the jetty design drawings and specifications prepared by Technum.
The project located inside Damietta Port and performed by a consortium of ENPPI and Tractebel Gas Engineering GmbH.
* UNITED GAS DERIVATIVES COMPANY (BP, IEOC AND GASCO), NGL PROCESS FACILITIES & ASSOCIATED PIPELINES (2001).
Managed multi-disciplinary engineering task-force team to review Front End Engineering Design (FEED) provided by Snamprogetti Ltd. The project is a deep cut NGL extraction plant designed to process 1100 mmscfd feed gas.
The plant included reception facilities, molecular sieve dehydration, mercury removal, NGL recovery (C3+ only), NGL fractionation, residue gas recompression, propane buffer storage, LPG storage, DNG storage, utilities, buildings and supporting infrastructures. The project also included several connecting onshore pipelines with total length of about 80 Km.
* MIDTAP, PETROLEUM PRODUCTS AND COKE LOADING FACILITIES (1997--2001).
Managed engineering team to conduct a technical-economic optimization study and to perform Detailed Engineering, procurement services and site technical support for offshore loading terminal and onshore facilities. The terminal designed to accommodate two (2) oil tankers of 50,000 DWT each, and one (1) petroleum coke ship of 25,000 DWT. Terminal throughputs is 4 MTPY of petroleum liquid products and 350,000 T/Y petroleum coke.
Offshore facilities included open steel piled jetty with concrete prefabricated and cast in-situ slabs, coke conveyors and ship loader, six (6) marine loading/ unloading arms and fire fighting system. Onshore facilities included seven (7) API650 tanks for storage and slop handling, ballast oily water treatment, coke storage yard and dozzer trap, power generation, buildings and pumping station.
The project performed by a consortium of ENPPI and Soros Associates, Inc. and constructed by Archirodon Construction (Overseas).
* BRITISH GAS INTERNATIONAL, ROSETTA OFFSHORE FIELD DEVELOPMENT (1997).
Responsible for managing a task group to review conceptual design and to perform Engineering of 365 MMSCFD offshore gas development. Project comprised offshore platform at 62 meters water depth in the Mediterranean, 75-km offshore pipeline, 35-km onshore pipeline and onshore terminal.
* ENPPI, ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (1997).
Task Force Manager: Responsible for qualifying company's headquarters activities to comply with the requirements of ISO 14001. Determined environmental aspects, significant impacts and prepared an environmental program for company's implementation. Successfully, ENPPI was the first engineering company in the Middle East to be certified to ISO 14001.
* KHALDA (REPSOL), WESTERN DESERT GAS PROJECT (1996).
Reviewed civil and structural scope of Front End Engineering & Design (FEED). The project aimed to develop a gas field of estimated 470 BCF of associated gas and connect it to the Egyptian gas network. The FEED prepared by ABB Lummus Global, Ltd.
* ENPPI, UTILIZATION OF QUE$TOR COMPUTER SOFTWARE (1996).
Software Training Advisor: Assisted company's cost estimators & planners to utilize the computer software QUE$TOR. It is used during evaluation stage to cost estimate, schedule, and provide investment profiles and economic analysis of new offshore oil and gas developments.
* ENPPI, HEADQUARTERS EXTENSION (1995-1997).
Deputy Project Manager: Responsible for project management and technical coordination between multi engineering disciplines to design, procure and construct extension to company's existing office building.
* SUCO (BP/ SHELL/ DEMINIX), COIL TUBING OPERATION -- DYNAMIC RESPONSE ANALYSIS (1995).
Project Manager & Structural Leader: Assignment included all project management activities. Performed dynamic analysis for RAS BADRAN "C" offshore platform. Conducted deterministic dynamic response due to sea waves and currents to check the platform during a temporary coil tubing operation. This platform located at the Gulf of Suez, Egypt, at water depth of 43 meters.
