I am providing technical support to the projects and Global Quality Management Operations, and recently I was instrumental in developing and implementing a common Global Management System across the organization in record time, which was later assessed & certified to ISO 9001: 2000 standards by an External Certification body. Currently, I am in the process of developing an Integrated Management System aligned to ISO 9001: 2000, ISO 14001: 2004, OHSAS 18001 and KBR's Vision, Mission & Focus Areas, which will be implemented globally within the KBR.
While in Singapore, I worked with M/s. Kellogg Brown & Root Far East Pte. Ltd., Singapore in Corporate Quality & Procurement Department (Project Quality Manager in Quality and Inspection Manager-Asia Pacific in Procurement). From the day one I have was associated with the following projects and activities:

I worked as Project Quality Manager/Lead and was responsible:
* To Develop, Maintain and Implement Quality Management System from the Initial Contract award through Design, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning to Handover.
* Prepare Project Quality Plans and Procedures and Interface with Suppliers and Client.
* Plan, Develop and coordination of project Supplier Surveillance Programs for suppliers and Client.
* To conduct Vendor evaluation and pre-award audits;

SAW Pipes is engaged in the production of SAW Pipes and Coating thereof, for various Oil, Gas & Petro-Chemical Companies. I was looking after overall activities of the Profit Centre, including a support to the Marketing Team and supervising about 1200 employees. This plant was equipped with 2 Spiral Welding Mills, One Longitudinal Mill (JCOE), One PE Coating Plant, One Coal Tar Epoxy Coating Plant and One Concrete Coating Plant.
At the time of commencement of my career in 1990's, I was supervising more than 80 Workman, 2 Engineers and 3 shop Supervisors with the responsibility of achieving Production targets of Sub-Merged Arc welded pipes of API 5L Grades, Production, Planning and Supervision of Pipe manufacturing, Supervision of SAW, SMAW & CO2 Welding processes, preparing WPS and Procedure Qualification Records.
