March 2004 to March 2006 - Director and General Manager, Australian FPSO Management

Responsible for all safety, commercial, business development and operational management activities of the Perth based AFM organisation. Managing the Perth business unit on behalf of the corporate entity Premuda Spa Ltd. Manage existing production operations contract with ENI Australia to operate and maintain the FPSO ¡* Four Vanguard¡¨ operating on the North West shelf Woolybutt field.

Acted as the interface between ENI/Premuda to resolve a number of commercial, contractual, safety and operational issues associated with identified latent asset deficiencies from the project handover phase. Prepare and implement 2004/05/06 business plans. Design and restructure the organisation for future Australian/Asia business opportunities.

Managed a small consultancy company specialising in production operations support, field development projects, FSO/FPSO's and marginal field techniques. Responsible for operations engineering review, technical input, management and operations preparedness for the installation of a new 120 MMScfd bridge-linked gas treatment and compression platform to existing wellhead platfrom, as part of a brown-field upgrade project.

OPEX budget US$ 18m, total staff of 200.
