Drilling Engineer / Superintendent

Fully manage offshore drilling rig operations, including deepwater and subsea projects, for major Sierra clients such as Houston Exploration,

Develop drilling plans for project areas to analyze and evaluate reservoirs. Create and maintain comprehensive technical and operating procedures, from laying anchors to topping off wells. Assess and implement profitable new technologies.

* Professional and skilled-labor management / cost control: Prevent potential $100,000-per-day slowdowns resulting from new, inexperienced employees, by performing or arranging one-on-one mentoring with emphasis on technical and safety procedures, to expedite project completion on time and within budget.

Save time and money by reviewing and analyzing programs to determine the need for, or replacement of, specified capital equipment based on cost, project deadlines, and suitability for existing conditions.
