Also, secondary responsibilities for tenders and contract and purchase order preparation. August 2006 – March 2007 Execution Lead for Mobil Cepu Ltd. Jakarta, Indonesia Part of the project execution team for the $2.5 Billion, 165,000 b/d Oil & Gas production facility in Indonesia. Initial work was to coordinate the preparation of drill sites for delineation drilling and exploration drilling, including coordination of schedules, budgets, execution plans, Safety, Health and Environmental plans and Risk assessments, engineering work scope, and construction contractor work scope. Dec 2004 – July 2006 Consultant to ExxonMobil Africa Project Services Group Equatorial Guinea and Houston, Texas Project Manager/Project Engineer Manage a variety of capital and expense projects (up to $20 Million), for ExxonMobil's Equatorial Guinea Production Facility consisting of offshore FPOs and platforms producing over 300,000 barrels of oil per day and 90 million scfd. Responsible to develop and execute projects after inception, complete project deliverables, prepare internal reviews, give presentations, hire and coordinate activities of engineering contractors, obtain ABS approvals, coordinate procurement, monitor construction and commissioning, and close out projects. 2004 - Dec 2004 Consultant to Kufpec (Kuwaiti Oil Company Operation in Indonesia) Jakarta, Indonesia Project Manager/Project Engineer Kufpec was producing approximately 3,000 barrels of sour crude per day that also split naptha, C3, and C4 and produced 8 mmscfd of associated gas with a planned expansion of 25,000 bbls/d. Position was responsible to manage onshore gas and oil related projects such as a new gas fuel utilization project consisting of well gathering, pipeline and fuel system conversions, temporary production facility (TPS), and accommodations upgrade. 2002-2004 ExxonMobil Indonesia Jakarta, Indonesia Sr. Procurement and Contracts Engineer / Sr. Project Engineer Responsible for procurement of all equipment, material, and services for upgrading a 400 mmscfd sour gas plant to 450 mmscfd in a $35Million expansion project Aceh, Indonesia including resolution of technical and commercial issues. Assisted the Project Manager to control costs, achieve schedule, produce reports to management, and prepare tenders for contracts and purchase orders.. The ExxonMobil NSO project team was a small, select, highly experienced group of personnel to manage this complex sour gas plant upgrade. 1996-2002 PT Riaindonusa Satria Jakarta, Indonesia Managing Director Responsible to manage all phases of business and that included sales, marketing, finance and accounting, operations, safety, and administration. Company represented major principals. Peak sales years generated over $2Million in revenue, including rental compression services, without financial support from the principals and employed over 40 personnel. Prepared tenders up to $150Million Bid Value (Lease with O&M platforms) in partnership with major principals. Example partnerships included; CMMS and Asset Management Software from Datastream, Reservoir Simulation Software from Computer Modeling Group (CMG), and Merak – Economic Modeling Software for Production Sharing Contractors, Artesia – Finance and Accounting Software; Production equipment - rental and sales of reciprocating and gas turbine driven compressor sets and generator sets from Hanover Compression, GE, and Sumy Frunze. Prepared offshore rental production topsides bids and power generation bids; Consulting – representing GCA – Gaffney, Cline, and Associates. 1991-1996 ARCO Jakarta, Indonesia Technical Production Consultant/Engineer Mainly responsible to provide the facility engineering and reliability services for the ARCO offshore operations in the Java Sea. Facilities consisted of approximately 60 platforms of various types and produced over 100,000 barrels of oil per day and over 300 Million scfd of sales gas compressed by nearly 40 Solar turbines. Debottlenecked two sales gas compression platforms, performed special studies for management including a maintenance assessment of the organization, implemented a program to develop the national personnel, and improved the company's predictive maintenance program. 1989 - 1991 Furmanite/PT Hexareka Jakarta, Indonesia Business Partner with Furmanite Agent in Indonesia Established a joint operating agreement for Furmanite (Oil & Gas specialized service company) and local Indonesian partners to create Furmanite's presence in Indonesia. Setup investment structure, office location, and initially developed the market. 1986-1989 Al Yusr Townsend and Bottom Jubail, Saudi Arabia Assistant General Manager Company provided the majority of the maintenance and operations contracts to the petrochemical and refinery companies in Saudi Arabia outside Aramco. Clients included Shell, Mobil, Ibn-Hayan, and Petrochemia. Job responsibilities included recruiting skilled personnel, bidding and executing refinery/petrochemical turnarounds, and supporting on-going operations. Assigned as Maintenance Planning Superintendent (often delegated the Maintenance Manager position) responsible for 40 personnel performing maintenance planning, predictive maintenance, inspection, and laboratory analysis of process and environmental items. Maintenance Department was responsible for high pressure, highly corrosive gas facilities processing several bcf/d and over 150,000 b/d of condensate. 1976 - 1981 ARCO Chemical Company Houston, Texas Project Coordinator Company's facility coordinator for the project to debottleneck the styrene monomer and propylene oxide process trains in Channelview, Texas. Facility Engineering Supervisor/Sr. Facility Engineer/Facility Engineer Supervised six engineers, fourteen inspectors, and the warehouse personnel in a major petrochemical complex located in Channelview, Texas. Facility manufactured propylene oxide, styrene monomer, and ethylene glycol using the latest in equipment and process design technologies.
