1. SK Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd., Korea 1994-1995, 1997 - 2001
Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Manager:
Plan, organize and manage overall project for the largest refinery (Cadereyta) project in Mexico (contract amount: US$ 1.6 billion) and gas compression project in Brazil. Prepared turn-over procedures and packages. Pre-commissioning and commissioning of the largest refinery( 22 units of new construction, modernization and revamp project) in Mexico.
Responsibilities include preparation of turn-over document, mechanical completion packages and system definitions. Also included scheduling, project budget, project coordination and quality control. One of responsibilities was to prepare punch list and balance work for final completion of site construction.
Key Projects;
*Cadereyta Refinery 2000 Project (Contract amount: US$1.6 billion), Mexico. Including RFCC, FCC, HF alkylation, diesel/ gas oil HDS, SRU, CCR, MTBE, tanks (6.0 million barrels) and utilities.
*4 Gas compression stations between Bolivia and Saint Paulo of Brazil (20¡± x 2,000 km), Brazil
*11 Pump stations, 1 offshore terminal and 24¡± x 1,200 km of pipelines, Mexico.
2. LG Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd., Korea, 1995- 1997
Project Manager/Commissioning Manager:
Opening of site office, selecting of sub-contractors, scheduling, controlling of project cost, directing daily project activities, coordinating. Prepared mechanical completion packages, punch list and balance work, pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and turn-over packages.
Responsibility also included performance running and guarantee.
Key Projects are:
*Lube base oil project of TPI (Contract:USD. 220 million), Rayong, Thailand.
*Ethyl-benzene styrene monomer project, Rayong, Thailand.
3. Hyundai Petro-chemical Co., Ltd., Korea 1990-1994
Commissioning Engineer/ Maintenance Manager:
Expediting and coordinating with Hyundai Engineering, Toyo Engineering, Scientific Design and Badger Engineering. Expediting material delivery and witnessing shop tests for Coppus steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, screw compressors and reciprocating Compressors. Take-over petro-chemical plant(Monomer) from construction contractors and stabilized plant operation with satisfactory results.
.Established preventive maintenance system for the whole plants of Hyundai Petro-chemical Company, Daesan, Korea.
4. Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., Korea 1983-1986
Commissioning Engineer/ Project Engineer for offshore oil and gas Project:
Stayed in offshore oil and gas platforms consecutively 10 months in Indian ocean for commissioning and performance guarantee of ONGC projects. Onshore test of offshore projects( TEXACO/SHELL projects). Prepared turn-over packages, pre-commissioning and commissioning manuals and punch list/balance work. Carried out offshore pre-commissioning and commissioning, performance guarantee in offshore platforms.
