Carry out duties related to the preparation, checking & issue of Process Engineering deliverables.

Supervise & control the development of precommissioning/Commissioning functions applicable to all phases of projects with piping or EM content.
Bid technical & commercial estimation, project mobilization & execution.
Provide input for the development of the Planning Package & project progress reporting in real time as well as facilitate hand over activities at work scope completion.
Identify modifications in operation and facility itself; give inputs during estimation phase of project in regard with size of work scope try to identify special requirements and difficulties as well.
Participate in all aspects of conceptual studies through to detailed engineering, fabrication & assembly, field installation & commissioning.
studying Engineering service requests, minor modification reports and facility modification proposals & then issuing scope of work & sending reports for authorization for expenditures and send for bidding (ITT) and then making PEP ( Project execution plans) and issuing final feed documents.
Checking feasibility studies, EPCM reports and FEED/DD summary and issue FMP or MMR. Define scope of work and issue proposals for bidding.
Experience in manned & unmanned offshore gas and oil processing facilities, pipeline technology, corrosion control and hydrate mitigations, instrumentation and process control.
Have experience through operating companies in the execution/management of offshore oil & gas EPC projects.

Process Engineering

Study Data sheets, PFD¡¦s, P&ID¡¦s, 3D drawings, General description drawings, flow sheets etc.
Study equipment & instrument specifications, Aware of API Standards and ASME codes.
Knowledge of relevant API, ANSI & ISO standards & have Chaired HAZOP/HAZAN meetings.
Developing new processes, modifying existing ones to escalate productivity, de-bottlenecking the facilities & get it incorporated in P&ID's and documents.
Provide technical guidance & support to the unit; chair TQM, ISO, PSM meetings.
Prepare new standard operating procedures (SOP¡¦s) & participate in HAZOP study & design reviews.

Project Execution & Project Management

Ensuring execution of projects on time and as per predefined cost parameters, timely and safely.
Co-ordinate all project activities from engineering stage up to completion work while keeping track with real time.
Manage the hand over & upkeep all technical documentation & verify the ¡¥as built¡¦ status from Contractors upon completion of the construction projects & ongoing modification works.
Provide a comprehensive design, engineering and construction service to support plant projects, modifications and changes.
Provide assistance and expert advice to Construction and Commissioning teams to guarantee a timely and safely start-up of the facilities.
Establish Plant Project Management Procedures (based on corporate PMP Project Management Procedures) and Engineering Change (MOC) procedures to control all related Plant activities.
Follow up of expenses/budget all along the duration of the project. Monitor and control contractor's achievements in accordance with contractual requisites.

Quality Assurance/ Cost Reductions
Ensuring quality of products through implementing latest testing methods & lab instruments.
Overseeing the implementation of HS&E initiatives across the plant and ensuring flow of operations as per set environmental stipulations.
Implement measures to maintain required local & international quality standards & specifications.

CO-ORDINATION

Assist with agreement of the definition of precommissioning/mechanical completion &other related items.
Develop with project manager a strategy for organizing the precommissioning and manpower allocation.
Monitor and co-ordinate with contractor's activities, review and comment on weekly construction reports.

DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING

Undertake a review of P&ID's prior to issue for construction (EPC Projects).
Monitor the progress of document production by client and contractor in particular identification and definition of the systems required.
Assist in transfer of project emphasis to system priorities in timely manner and assist with organization of certification systems which will facilitate final hand over to clients smoothly.
Co-ordinate precommissioning inputs to the lessons learned documentation and act as consultant.
Follow up of HAZOP meetings and related conclusions / recommendations and ensure that HSE requirements as well as rules are implemented and followed all along the project.
ORGANISATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Oct 08 till Date: ATKINS-UK for ADMA-OPCO Major projects division

As Project, section team leader for project & commissioning of SHARQ PE Project of 800Kta capacity in Saudi Arabia. Linde-KCA-Dresden GmbH is an Approved Bidding Contractor for UNIPOL Technologies. Here I was looking after downstream section of polyethylene which comes after reactor.

Qatar gas as Lead project engineer for projects under engineering services & thus worked for their ON shore facilities and modifications with OFF SHORE projects as well as expansions & addition of facilities which were running. I have worked on Glycol project; reclaimer -3 projects & other modification for on-shore facilities as well as off-shore.

Aug 04 to Dec 05: Tecnimont, Italian EPC firm.

As Sr. Project engineer for PKN- ORLENE project in Poland near Warsaw. I Provided engineering support to PMT, gave inputs for the development of the planning package & project progress reports & kept track of project in real time. Monitored & Controlled man-hours so that job is finished within budgeted man-hours. During tendering stage, while in office review enquiry documentation from client together with Scope of Work & raise queries when there is lack of clarity, interface with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities & finally provide useful inputs during bid preparation & evaluate them technically & commercially.
Oct 02 to July 04: UNILUBE Refinery, A vista technology/Onyx Eng (USA)

Employed and promoted to Production Engineer after start up. Eloquent with Viscosity Breaking Unit (VBU) by vacuum distillation & Catalytic cracking. Hands on Expertise with Absorption/Stripping Columns, Evaporators, Expert in studies of trends & graphics for better understanding of problems & trouble shoot them & report to Production Head.

May 00 to Oct 02: COMRIENT - Italy in Saudi European Petrochemical Company

A SABIC affiliates Called IBNZAHR, Polypropylene Plant UNIPOL Tech. USA. Worked as Start-up & commissioning Specialist for two trains of 260 Kta each. Worked in Fluidized Reactor & Compressor, Recovery units, Dryers for N2, Dryers of Propane, Ethane & Sulphur removers and regeneration cycle. Conveying systems for pellets of both lean and dense phase using ARZEN compressors.
