Won company Shield Award for Strategic Transactions.
- Developed first Exploitation organization in company to integrate development geoscience and reservoir engineering functions into teams aligned with the asset base.
- As company's first Partnership Operations Development Geology Manager, improved oil and gas reserves development on outside-operated producing properties in North America by organizing multidisciplinary field study project teams.
- Project Manager of DOE class demonstration project

Operational and Financial:

- Developed, justified and profitably expended annual operating budgets to $50 million to drill up to 70 wells and acquire 3D seismic surveys.
- Profitably replaced >100% of oil and gas production over 11 years in North America E&P assignments.
- Re-developed tight gas sands at Ada Field (Louisiana) to restore field from marginal property to second most profitable company-operated field in North America (added 100+ BCFG, 100 MMCFG/D production).
- Managed all North America geological wellsite operations (bidding, contracting, on-site supervision) to promote safety, improve operational effectiveness and ethically ensure cost efficiency.
- Assumed non-operated property inventory and annual reserves review functions without staff increase.
- Reduced cycle time from months to days for evaluation of well recompletion and workover recommendations and farm-out and leasehold requests, while clearing massive backlog.
- Analyzed worldwide drilling and seismic operations and budgets, dry hole forecasts, lease impairment status, well promotions, joint ventures, major field developments, annual well count.
- Implemented company's electronic geological daily drilling report system two months ahead of schedule.

Technical:

- Directed critical South Caspian technical evaluations that avoided company exposure to unsuccessful exploration ventures in the failed Azerbaijan "gold rush".
- Identified and evaluated 70+ opportunities in the Caspian Sea area, including 25 data room evaluations. Developed and recommended 16 prospects each with 500+ million barrel potential.
- In 11 years in North America E&P assignments, directed field study projects in 100+ fields, utilizing advanced reservoir characterization tools and 3D seismic visualization and interpretation techniques to develop and implement primary, secondary and tertiary production projects.
- Executed regional and prospect level exploration mapping and studies. Evaluated bid rounds and lease sales.
