Main responsibilities
Reporting to the VP of the Jebel Ali Facility I am responsible for overseeing all elements of all projects to ensure that they can be and are properly co-ordinated and carried out in the most efficient, effective and commercially beneficial manner possible, without undue risk, in accordance with Company Policies & Procedures and in the best interests of the Company and the Clients.

During my tenure with Lamprell we have increased the revenue of the Jebel Ali facility to in excess of US$100m pa with individual projects of US$60m being executed.

October 1999 - May 2005
Senior Project Manager - Lamprell Energy, Dubai

I joined the Company prior to the establishment of the new fabrication facilities in Jebel Ali and so have been instrumental in the setting up and growth of the Company.

Main responsibilities
Responsible for major projects in the organization, and the efficient management and co-ordination with a team of personnel and resources to ensure projects' success. Ensure full cooperation and liaison between Production, Commercial, Planning, Engineering, HSEQ Departments and related functions. Also closely liaising with clients in relation to the running and progress of their projects.

Reporting to the General Manager I was responsible for two projects involving sulphate reduction module packages; an EPC project for a 6 + 3 slot oil & gas wellhead platform for Cairn Energy India Ltd. ; a large FPSO project for SBM involving 10 process modules varying in weight from 120Te to 1000Te. These projects were fast track in nature, were multi-discipline and involved various different sub-contract elements.

March 1999 – September 1999
Contractor's Representative – Global Industries Offshore Inc., Thailand

Main responsibilities
Employed by Global Industries Offshore, Inc. in South East Asia on a small EPIC project for the topside modifications of a riser platform for PTT Thailand. I was part of the Site Team overseeing the onshore fabrication of the structural steel and piping spools and then subsequently held the position of Contractor's Representative offshore.

October 1991 – March 1999
Project Engineer/Co-ordinator - J. Ray McDermott Middle East Inc., Dubai, UAE

Main responsibilities
The projects that I worked on were primarily EPIC in nature, where I held a project engineer / co-ordinator role with emphasis on the offshore hook-up and pre-commissioning aspects. The larger projects that I was involved in were for the Qatar Liquefied Gas Company Ltd. (Qatargas) and Enron Oil and Gas India Ltd. Both covered engineering through to commissioning, the former was the development of the North Field Bravo complex offshore Qatar in the Arabian Gulf (this was done in two distinct EPIC phases) and the latter was for the Panna Field Development off the west coast of India. I have also held the position of Project / Construction Manager for another project in Qatar, which was a fast track project involving procurement, fabrication and installation of three wellhead platforms for Qatar General Petroleum Company (QGPC).

Other projects that I worked on while at McDermott's, prior to joining the Project Management group, were in a senior hook-up engineering capacity and were as follows:

Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company - October Field, Egypt.
October Gaslift/Transgulf Project; new gas injection/gas compression platform with link into existing facilities.

Dubai Petroleum Company - Fateh Field, Dubai.
EOR Pilot Project; new gas injection train and associated process skids on existing facilities.

Crescent Petroleum Company - Mubarek Field, Sharjah.
EPIC project for new process facility and also renovation/upgrade and integration of existing facilities.

Iranian Offshore Oil Co. - Salman Field, Iran.
EPIC project for complete renovation of the complex including 8 new platforms and 12 new bridges.

Iranian Offshore Oil Co. - Nasr Field, Iran.
New Production Platform and new Living Quarters, and renovation of the existing Drilling platform.

September 1989 – October 1991
Assistant Project Engineer - Redpath Offshore Ltd. (Trafalgar House), U.K.

Main responsibilities
During a short time at Redpath Offshore in England I started as a Graduate Engineer and went on to become an Assistant Project Engineer. My responsibilities included engineering for the mechanical installation on the Marathon Oil East Brae project, and systems completion co-ordinator for the BP Miller project.
