A. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

ii) Procuring data dockets for Techno-economic evaluation.
iii) Understanding and analyzing various fiscal terms i.e. Exploration Period, Minimum Work Programme, Minimum Financial Commitment, Exploitation period, Relinquishment, Royalty, Cost Recovery, Signature Bonus, Production Bonus, Sharing of Petroleum Profit, Social obligation, Domestic market obligation, Double Taxation Avoidance Treaty, Abandonment of Wells, Application of Law, Arbitration etc. of PSC and ESC.
iv) Preparing and submitting bid for exploration blocks under licensing round and for Assets/Equity under sale.
v) Floating tenders and awarding contracts to consultants for carrying out Techno-economic, Commercial, Financial and Legal due diligence of E&P opportunities.

Notable Contributions i) Instrumental in getting awarded to the company Block No. 86 and 102(4) offered under bid round-1 and bid round -2 respectively in Libya and Block 82 & 83 in the 3rd bid round in Yemen.
ii) Successfully acquiring participating interest in exploration block in Gabon and Cote D¡¦lvoire.
iii) Successfully acquiring equity of a company having participating interest in a discovered block in Nigeria.
iv) Distinction of working on PSC of Libya, Egypt, Nigeria, Gabon, Yemen, Myanmar, Sudan, Syria etc., and ESC of Iran.

B. STATUTORY COMPLIANCE

Statutory Compliance/ Liaison i) Maintaining excellent relations with various Govt. agencies, National Oil Companies, Assignor, Investment Bankers, Shareholders and Management for E&P opportunities.
ii) Processing application for getting qualified in the licensing round and for development of marginal field.
iii) Attending Joint Operating Committee Meeting (OC)/Joint Exploration Committee Meeting (JEC).
iv) Obtaining legal opinion/advice from the legal experts on various issues related to E&P opportunities.
v) Obtaining Management /Board approval for acquisition and investment in E&P opportunities.
vi) Liaising with:
a) Indian Banks for obtaining bank Guarantee for submission with proposal/bid.
b) Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MOP&NG), Ministry of External affairs (MEA), Govt. of India, Foreign Missions in India, Partners and other E&P companies in India.

Agreements/ Documentation i) Preparing and executing:
a) Confidentiality Agreement (CA) for receiving confidential information.
b) Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Joint Bidding Agreement (JBA) and Joint Operating Agreement (JOA)
c) Farm- in Agreement and Assignment Deed.

C. LAND ACQUISITION

Land acquisition / Property Sourcing a) Supervising overall management of land acquisition and property sourcing matters encompassing sourcing & site visits, research and matters pertaining to land acquisition.
b) Carrying out valuation, negotiation of land compensation and as well as authentication / verification check of registered property title documents.
c) Coordinating with the offices of Registrar for title search reports and also verification of property title, land tax and other compliance tasks.

Notable Contributions a) Maintaining excellent relations with the government revenue officials, private parties for acquisition of land for Drilling Locations and Projects (i.e. Pipeline, Housing, Roads, OCS, and GCS etc), execution of various conveyances.
