Profile: Contract Management specialist with significant background in working for an EPC Company on 4 Separate Drill Ship Projects( each costing around in the range of US$450 -460 Million ), US$1.2 Billion FPSO project and Upstream Oil Company in the fields of Contract Management and Administration on EPIC mega Offshore & Onshore projects to the value of US $ 900 Million. Very experienced in managing pre-award activities of Contract starting from Prequalification criteria& BidEvaluationCiteria, request for quotations, bid evaluation, and short listing of bidders, negotiating, drafting and placement of Contract award. Post award contract management and administration particularly on EPC contracts starting from insurance, performance guarantee change order management, progress measurements and correspondence management for contractual correctness. Monitor all contractual issues of Scope, Cost & Time till the project is closed. International experience including South Korea, Australia Dubai, Germany and UAE.

Daewoo Shipbuilding Marine Engineering Company Ltd, South Korea: June 2007-Contd
Transocean awarded 4 Drill ship projects on EPIC basis to DSME. Cost of one drill ship Project is in the range of US$450 -460 Million. Transocean is also contemplating to award 5th Drill ship Project with same terms & conditions. Major subcontractors are National Oil Varco ( Sub Contract Value US$150 Million), Siemens, SINHAN and DNV. Also another drill ship project is under bidding and award stage.
As a Manager (Contracts) responsible for all contractual issues of all the 4 Projects with Clients Transocean, Chevron, Hydro and also ensures the contract compliances by Major Subcontractor. Reviewed the draft contract for new drill ship contract which is under bidding and award stage.
* Monitor all contractual issues of scope, cost & time including correspondences management for contractual correctness.
* Change Management: Identification and review of all Change Orders.
* Drafting of notices and all important correspondences.
Hyundai Samho Heavy Industry - South Korea. May 2006 – May, 2007.
TOTAL Upstream Ltd, Nigeria awarded AKPO FPSO project to a consortium of Technip( France& Nigeria) and Hyundai Heavy Industry who in turn Subcontracted Hull Construction at cost of US$329 Million.
As a Senior Contracts Engineer responsible in the Project Management Team for all the issues of three types of contract –Main Contract, Consortium Contract, Back to Back Contract.
* Managed EPC contractor to get 1 month time extension for delivery of Hull..
* Identification of change orders and review all claims and changes raised. Change Order Request of US$16 Million. Change Order claim from Company for EPC company for a value of US$3. 0 Million.

As a Contract leader of projects in Project Management for Contract management for most of the 15 years with ONGC on EPIC and Consultancy Jobs related to Offshore Projects. Also having experience in procurement of items and turnkey services. Good knowledge of maintenance of oilfield equipment (Drilling Rigs& Production Platforms).

As In charge of electrical section of Engineering Services of Ankleshwar Asset, handled Pre award stage of 4 tenders for onshore projects worth US $ 4 Million and also handled Post Award stage of Contract for "Construction of Centrally Air Conditioned Building". Value of Contract was US$5.0 Million. Tendered handled were Captive Cogeneration Gas Power Plant of 2MW, Contracts for high mast lighting, Electrifications for SCADA Room lighting, Shifting of electrical substation of Oil Group gathering station. These tenders were on item rate basis or LSTK, b) Mumbai High South Process Platform 2001 - mid-2005

Leader of the Contract Administration of the Project Management Team since concept to commissioning and hand over.
Detail Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Transportation, Installation and Commissioning of the 1 x 8 legged platforms.
* Involvement in resolution of key issues in all the phases of the project.
* Gained in depth complete knowledge of full phase of a project life cycle.
* Appreciation from C&MD, ONGC for completing MSP project accident free
* Completion of this project was considered as an exemplary achievement of project completion as it established many firsts which authenticated the meticulous designing and execution capabilities.
* Visited Worley, Australia to finalize Contract conditions and scope of work for this project.
c) Finalised the contracts for I&C (Inspection and Certification agency) and also the contract for consultancy in 4 phases. Both the contracts were on ceiling man-hrs and cost. (Total 5 contracts finalised)
d) Bombay High Pipeline Replacement Project 1998 - 2000

* Completion of this project without time and cost over run & accident free led ONGC to get "Excellence in Project management" from Petroleum Ministry of India"
* Visited Bredero Price, Sharjah, UAE for contract compliance and overseeing pipe coating. Also visited V&M,.Germany to oversee steel pipe manufacturing.
e) BPA-BPB Up gradation Project: 1995 - 1997
Contract with Essar Oil Ltd. at a cost of US $ 9.473 Million

Awarded to ESSAR oil Ltd, Mumbai.
* Visited Fabrication Yard in UAE for overseeing fabrication
* Handled the presentation of a claim case as the project entered into dispute in an innovative way. Case was settled out of court under ambit of Arbitration and Conciliation Act. Settled the disputed claim of US$ 4.0 Million in US$1.0Million(1997)
f) NPC Process platform &11 Well platform projects 1991-1995
US$630 Million, Total 5 Contracts. 1 contract for process platform and 4 contracts for well platforms: Member of the Contract Administration / Project Management Team.
