Career Summary

Petroleum Engineer (BSc) with solid technical background and wide experience (15 years) in drilling, completion and workover operations, mainly on land and heli-transportable rigs.

Diverse assignments in Latinamerica (Colombia, Venezuela, Peru and Ecuador) throughout my whole career, beginning as Mud Engineer in M-I Drilling Fluids, then moved to Schlumberger where not only worked in Drilling & Completion Fluids, but also in Cementing, Directional Drilling and Integrated Project Management (IPM). On the project management business, spent a few years, working as Sr Well Engineer and Project Manager.
After such experience, moved to Petrobras where I have been working since 2004 up to date as Operations & Engineering Leader as well as Well Construction & Intervention (WCI – same as Drilling, Completion and Workover) Manager for the last two years, whereas financial, administrative and managerial skills have been reinforced.

Bilingual (Spanish / English) and certified as PMP (Project Management Professional) by the PMI (Project Management Institute).
