PROFILE SUMMARY: Project Engineer working in Project Management Team for an EPC company on 4 separate newbuilding Drillship projects with extensive experience in Engineering Coordination activities between various disciplines, assuring the quality, the consistency and the timely execution of the engineering activities are performed both by the internal and the contractor team. Hands on Technical and Operational Experience within the Marine Industry. Excellent understanding of shipboard machinery and control systems. Actively involved with the construction cycle of LNGC vessels, GTT Mark 3 Type. Good understanding of LNG ship's Cargo containment systems and quality control system.

KEY SKILLS:

* Experienced in monitoring the engineering process of projects to ensure timely delivery of deliverables while maintaining standards, effective and expeditious coordination across various disciplines.
* Provide assistance in resolution of critical engineering issues, technical queries for successful and timely completion of projects. Prepare Technical Queries (TQ's) and issue RFI's (Request for Information) for clarification.

1. ORGANISATION: Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Limited.
DURATION: April 2007 ~ Till date
DESIGNATION: Assistant Manager, Project Management Team, New Building Drill Ship.

* Involved in 4 newbuilding Drillship projects. Project management from conceptualization to design, detailed engineering up to vessel delivery stage. Liaise with the Client, Classification Society, Vendors and all internal departments for engineering progress and on technical matters.

* Management of Change of work scope. Preparation of Contract Specifications with drilling vendor for scope of work. Monitor equipment delivery from vendors.

* Develop Extra work scope, draft Change orders (CO) raised by Shipyard and negotiate with the Client. Engineering Progress Management, Technical Query (TQ) issuance. Setting up of Commissioning procedures.

* Prepared contract for Drilling Vendor reviewed and updated new drillship project contract. Invited Quotations for contracting work to Classification Society, to carry out Safety Studies and FMEA analysis.

* Resolved significant engineering design issues with Client and Classification society.

* Participate in Technical meetings, Commissioning Meetings.
