Carry out joint inspections with the client representatives to gain acceptance/handover of the completed units.
I was also responsible for the direction of sub contract labour in order to expedite the identified rectification works.
I was also required to answer sub contractor generated technical queries.
I was required to deputise for the construction manager during his leave and undertake all his functions.

I was also responsible for the response to mechanical technical queries and Co-ordination of responses to all other discipline queries.
Other duties included the liason with the client, to review punchlist items generated by the clients inspection team and address and resolve engineering issues raised by the same.

Seconded to ConocoPhillips from Fluor Ltd, in order to co-ordinate site engineering activities with detailed design being carried out in the Fluor Head office and to liase with the sub-contractors in order to overcome construction generated technical queries. I was also required to review potential sub-contractors during the bid evaluation and clarification stages prior to contract awards, from the engineering organisational standpoint.
The senior field engineer's role also required me to direct project specific activities within Conoco's own document control department to ensure the timely review and transmittal of sub-contractors deliverables.
I was also given the responsibilities for setting up the on plot office for Conoco's site supervision.

Responsible for the co-ordination between site engineering and related H.O engineering dept, in order to achieve the scheduled delivery of engineering documentation to sub-contractors. I was also responsible for the resolution of site generated technical queries, by utilising site based engineering personnel.
Document control and drawing transmittal were also a site-based functions, which came under the remit of the Field engineer.
I was also given the responsibilities of the General superintendent to construct an off-plots area of the project, which included tie-in work, whilst maintaining/carrying out my own 'normal' daily tasks.

Responsible for all site piping engineering activities. Prior to my deployment to site, I was located at the piping sub-contractors workshop to oversee the spool fabrication and to solve engineering problems at source. I was required to liase at site with the sub-contractors engineering personnel and to co-ordinate piping installation with relevant supervisors.
