Have been employed by oil production companies for more than TWENTY TWO YEARS in both Egypt and Arabian Gulf region. The First ten years were spent with the General Petroleum Company GPC in Egypt, and the rest for Arabian Oil Company AOC, which converted afterward to Al-Khafji Joint Operations KJO (between Aramco Gulf Operations Company AGOC and Kuwait Gulf Oil Company KGOC) in the divided (ex-natural) zone between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

Throughout such career, experiences have been gained in the areas of project management of multi-disciplinary mega projects in oil and gas industry, covering all project management processes of project initiation, planning, execution, control and closeout.

FEED for Construction of Water Treatment Facilities Phase-3 & Khafji Ratawi Water Injection Facilities
(Jan, 2007 ¡V Jun, 2007)

The project consists of onshore facilities including surge tanks, induced gas flotations IGFs), nutshell filters (NSFs), buffer tanks, booster & injection pumps, and also offshore facilities including water hub platform (WHP), three water distribution platforms (WDP-1, WDP-2, WDP-3), submarine trunk and distribution pipelines (FBE internally coated), submarine flexible pipelines (FEED by Worley Parsons, Australia).

Construction of Khafji Field Development Plan, Offshore facilities (Phase 1), Khafji FDP-1

The project consists of two PDPs of four-legged jacket with two boatlandings, double-deck topsides, submarine cables and electrical equipments to support electrical submersible pumps ESP operation (FEED by Worley Parsons, Australia).

FEED for Khafji Field Development Plan (Phase 1), Khafji FDP-1
(Jan, 2006 ¡V Apr, 2006)

(Participated in this project as senior project engineer):
The project consists of both offshore and onshore facilities: Offshore facilities include new flow stations, submarine pipelines and cables, power distribution platforms, etc., and onshore facilities include inlet separators, gas handling and compressing facilities, control buildings and other plant facilities and utilities, etc (FEED by Toyo Engineering Corp., Japan).

Installation of integrated well jackets, IWJ-2 & 3
(Jun, 2003 ¡V Dec, 2004)

The project consists of two IWJs of four-legged jacket with two boatlandings, helideck and double-deck topsides to accommodate 12 well slots, drilling operation and piping & other production facilities (EPC by McDermott, UAE).

Assessment of existing aged platforms,

The project consists of assessment of the existing platforms using the provision given in Section 17 of API-RP-2A WSD (Engineering by MSL, UK)

FEED for IWJ-2&3

The project consists of two IWJs of four-legged jacket with two boatlandings, helideck and double-deck topsides to accommodate 12 well slots, drilling operation and piping & other production facilities (FEED by Toyo Engineering Corp., Japan).

Replacement of well jacket, TS-22
(May, 2001 ¡V Nov, 2002)

The project consists of replacing the damaged old well jacket, TS-22, slipping over the new jacket on freestanding conductors after removal of the damaged old jacket (EPC by NPCC, UAE).

Extension of north small pier, Khafji Port
(Nov, 2000 ¡V Apr, 2001)

The project consists of sheetpiling and piling for the jetty, earth work, and accessories (in-house engineering & Construction by The universal Co., Egypt)

Engineering for installation of gas lift station GLS-2,
(May, 2000 ¡V Nov, 2000)

(Participated in this project as senior project engineer):
The project consists of design of offshore gas lift station with all gas handling and compressing facilities. The design considered 8-legged jacket and 8000 ton topsides designed to be installed by float-over operation (Engineering by W.S. Atkins, UAE)

Construction of production master control Room PMCR,

(Participated in this project as senior project engineer):
The project consists of construction of a blast resistant building including control room, equipment room, HVAC room, and other facilities such as cable distribution network to plant facilities (EPC by Al-Khathlan Est., Saudi Arabia).

Construction of 1.5 MGPD seawater desalination plant
(Jun, 1997 ¡V Dec, 1999)

(Participated in this project as senior project engineer):
The project consists of construction of desalination units and facilities, seawater intake pit, head and facilities and FRP induction pipelines (EPC by Mitsui).

Renovation of north jetty, south jetty and causeway bridge
(Jun, 1995 ¡V Jun, 1997)

The project consists of major repair and maintenance works for the existing north jetty, south jetty and causeway bridge, including concrete repair jetty's accessories, and introducing cathodic protection for the concrete structures (Engineering by local engineering company and construction by Al-Dulaiman Est., Saudi Arabia).

Dredging of Khafji inner harbor and access channel,
(Feb, 1995 ¡V Jun, 1995)

The project consists of seabed dredging and sand disposal according to environment protection criteria (construction by Saudi Dredging Co., Saudi Arabia).

Renovation of cooling tower in Ras Gharib gas plant
