11/95 - 06/96: Directional Drilling Engineer: Re-engineering of South American directional operations in Venezuela (MWD & Drilling): process, technical support & assurance quality policy. Personnel evaluation, established a new structure of the department, work definition and responsibilities for each level, hiring of personnel, adapted quality control procedures for internal products and services as well as for suppliers and contractors. Improvement of training and transfer of technologies to and from Europe, North America, Venezuela & Colombia.
03/95 - 11/95: Drilling Engineer Integrated Services for Lagoven: Offshore drilling campaign in Venezuela my duties included: preparation of well programs for a re-entry campaign, contractor supervision, technical support for contract negotiation and cost control. Responsibilities also included project reporting and works methodology improvement.
Achieved the first successful horizontal re-entry well in Maracaibo lake for more than 18 months within cost and projected schedule.
02/ 93 -03/ 95: MWD FIELD ENGINEER: Monitoring While Drilling ElectroMagnetic telemetry technology: duties: head of engineering training technical support, new technology test and certification for North America.
Trained 16 engineers (basic & advanced), lab and field tested slim hole MWD tool, software and annulus pressure gauge. Upgraded drilling engineering software (GEODE 4.1). Canada, United States, France, Venezuela, Papua New Guinea
