Business Information Manager. Consultancy work. IT Strategic planning, project management, contract management, data management strategy, High Interactive Visualization Environment management, document management and strategic support to several departments in the organization.
Drummond Limited, Colombia, July 2004 to April 2006
IT Manager of a company of 3000+ employees that produces 24 millions tones of coal each year. Drummond is developing a new business unit for extracting Gas from coal seams. I was in charge of 11 analysts and several contractors, managing a yearly budget of 1.2 millions. Functions of defining an IT strategy, SLAs, Telecoms strategy, supporting a WAN and local LANs and 15 servers in 3 computer rooms and 600+ PCs.
