I. Senior Staff Drilling/Completions Engineer & Rig Supervosor (ORYX/Kerr-McGee & BP)- Prepare AFE's, drilling, and completion programs from Feb 98 to present. Submit bids, select contractors, and supervise operations. Areas of activity include:
A. Wyoming- Greater Green River Basin (Overthrust & Wamsutter) 10,000' to 14,000' TD- BHT 230F, 20% H2S, 10.8 ppg, motors with MWD, new drills and sidetracks, under balanced drilling
B. South Texas- Borosa, TCB, Flores, and Lyda fields in Starr, Hidalgo, and Kleberg Counties (8200' to 12,000'TD). Mud weights to 17. 5 ppg (10,500 psi) and BHT= 340F, oil base and FW mud, single and dual completions
C. East Texas- Bossier Sand Dew field in Freestone County, 13,800' TD- BHT 320F, 15.5 ppg mud, TCP guns
D. Shelf GOM- East High Island A-327, subsea completion re-entry and sidetrack
E. Participated in the deepwater schools and training at Oryx including AFE submission. Reason leaving Oryx- merger with Kerr-Magee a few months after hiring on. Lost 80% of company including deepwater. Did some consulting for Pioneer before hiring on with bp.

-BHT 322 F, BHP 7760 psi, with Neyfor T2 turbine motor, logistics 4 day turn-around
B. Sedco Forex 709, dynamic position floater- Nigeria, Africa
-Three well program (Bonga #1, #2, and #3), +/- 14,500' MD, water depth 4950' to 5350', 100 miles offshore, directional drilling, coring, multiple DST's, frac pack completion, cut and pull casing for sidetrack operations- field deliniation project, logistics 3 day turn-around
C. Prepared IPM bid to Shell- cost estimates, material list, and drilling programs for integrated service projects
III. Drilling & HSE Manager (Fina Oil)-West Texas, New Mexico, Kansas and Oklahoma from July 89 to Feb 95. Responsible for drilling engineering, operations and HSE (Health-Safety-Environment) in Fina's Western Division out of Midland, TX.
A. Drilling Management Responsibilities
-Plan, direct, and coordinate drilling services
-Preparation/negotiation of drilling contracts and selection of rigs
-Prepare and approve cement, mud bids, and other well services
-Take morning reports and supervise operations
-Supervised drilling foreman, drilling technician, and drilling engineers/consultants
-Coordinate with landmen concerning acreage positions, working interest, farmouts, surface damages, drilling locations, and permitting
B. Engineering Duties
-Drilling and completion cost estimates (AFE's)
-Prepared drilling programs, forward plans, and any special procedures
-Assigned all horizontal completions and difficult workover/fishing projects
-Established and maintain relations with regulatory agencies- TX RRC, NM BLM, and OK OCC

IV. Drilling /Completions/Workovers Supervisor (Mobil Oil)-New Orleans Division Offshore from Dec 86 to July 89 (14 on 14 off schedule). Locations included West Cameron, Eugene Island, and Mississippi Canyon on the Chiles Yucatan (jackup), and the Ocean Endeavor (floater-water depth 850' considered deep water at that time). Work included drilling and completion operations.
V. Drilling/Completions/Workovers Engineer (Mobil Oil)- West Texas and New Mexico from Feb 85 to Dec 86. Prepared AFE's, drilling programs, and completion procedures. Stratigraphic areas include the Delaware, Central, Midland Basin, and Northwest Shelf. Formations include: Rustler, Yates, San Andres, Clearfork, Wolfcamp, Atoka, Morrow, Devonian, Fusselman, and Ellenburger.
VI. Drilling/Completions/Workovers Supervisor (Mobil Oil)- West Texas and New Mexico from Mar 83 to Feb 85. Worked on both drilling rigs and pulling units, 11 on 3 off schedule. Depths ranged from 3200' to 19,300' with multiple sand-water fracs down casing.
VII. Gas Processing (Mobil Oil)- Cryogenic Plant Engineer at Oil-NGL-Gas Complex (130 mmcfd & 50,000 HP) in West Texas from Mar 81 to Mar 83. Plant consisted of liquid extraction, condensate production, gas sales, and injection reservoir pressure (7200 pi) maintenance. Provided new construction, facility upgrade, and general engineering support for the plant. Prepared project justification, cost estimates, generated P&L, the scope of work, bids, selected contractors and supervised construction.
