Successfully completed seven New construction ships, worked as project engineer in conversion of offshore units P-40, P-43. Carried out conversion as project engineer and later, Top-sides integration of Petrobras FPSO P-50 for BRAZILIAN PETROLEUM as Project manager and completions manager, to commission the installation in the oil field. Served as Construction Manager in Conversion of a semi-sub Rig for NOBLE Corp, Houston.

As Assistant Manager in Piping and Out-Fitting section of Machinery and fitting Department of Jurong Shipyard Pte. Ltd. I successfully carried out the followings:-
1) Provide Discipline constructability advice to project engineering group.
2) Interface between the design team and fabrication and installation groups and contractors.
3) Development of task books and ITPs.
4) Identification of specific project inspection services.
5) Production of construction activities estimates.
6) Preparation and maintenance of construction schedules.
7) Verify construction readiness including confirmation of receipt of materials, availability of installation resources and fabrication status.
8) Facilitate constructability reviews.
9) Presence on-site during installation to advise Construction.
10) Acting as Superintendent when required.
11) Development of hazardous identification plans for specific projects

As Asst. Project Manager For 20 months (from Oct 04 to Jun 06) I was stationed at Rio-de-Janeiro (BRAZIL), to oversee and manage the Top-sides integration, pre-commissioning and commissioning of an FPSO(P-50) for PETROBRAS. I have acquired proficient experience in engineering management, construction and commissioning activities involved in conversion and putting to operation one of the finest modern FPSO with 1,80,000bbl/day production capacity.

„« To ensure the engineering is performed in due time to allow a project completion within contractual schedule, and check that design is in line with PPA (power purchase agreement) requirements.
„« To oversee the good execution of the contract by the EPC sub-contractor during construction and commissioning.
„« To perform physical inspection of the work progress on a regular basis.
„« To manage the change orders and claims with the EPC sub-contractor and owners.
„« To provide the necessary reporting, including cost control, planning.
„« To Liaise with the Shipyard, Classification Society and Regulatory Bodies to ensure that the vessel is delivered according to specification and within the allocated budget.
„« To Liaise with Technical Manager and Individual Project Team Members as required with regard to Technical Queries, site Queries, Site Instructions / Clarifications, Design Change Review, Variation Order Request, Variation Order,
Contract Options and Approval of Documents including Drawings.
„« To Liaise with and assist the Project/Technical Manager/Dive Superintendent, and other internal departments in connection with Design Reviews, and preparation of specifications for the construction, installation and commissioning scopes of Work for the Shipyard phase.

„« Supervise the nominated site team and agree with the project director if manning levels suitable to achieve milestones attend meetings as and when required by the project demands to include but not limited to variation status, safety/environment, quality control and design reviews.

FPSO Topside Delivery Manager is a key member of MISC Project Management Team for the Ruby FPSO.

The Topside Delivery Manager is fully responsible for the complete topside process and utility facility in terms of the topside meeting client, MISC and regulatory requirements as defined in the functional specification, design basis and rules, regulations and international oil field and safety standards. This responsibility includes all aspects of design, procurement and construction/commissioning and start-up.

The Topside Delivery Manager, as part of the project management team participates in controlling the project cost and ensures delivery is within the required schedule and to the required quality.

The Topside Delivery Manager reports to the overall FPSO Project Manager and notifies the PM on any matters related to the topside meeting the technical and quality requirements and any issues that could affect the project cost and/or schedule.

The Topside Delivery Manager liaises directly with the Project Engineering Manager on any aspect relating to the topside design, with the Hull Delivery Manager on any interface issues with the hull and marine systems, with the Construction Manager on any construction related issues and with the Commissioning and Start-Up Manager on issues related commissioning and start-up.
