I have 30+ years experience as a Mud Engineer, 18 years International experience. I have held positions as Country Manager (Cuba), Ops. Manager (Trinidad), District Coordinator (Nigeria) and Fluids Coordinator (India, Australia). I am experienced in all types of Water / Oil / Synthetic based Drilling Fluids as well Waste management including Solids Control, Water Treatment, Cuttings processing, and Re-injection. I have extensive Deep Water (India, W-Africa), Horizontal (India, Trinidad, Australia, Cuba, Nigeria), Extended reach (Iran, India), H2S (Iran, Yemen, Pakistan, Indonesia) and High Temperature (China, Indonesia, Australia) experience. I have intermediate language skills in Spanish.

Deep Water- 19 wells in Angola, Nigeria, Gabon, Congo, Eq Guinea, China. HPHT- China, Indonesia. Extended Reach- India (H2S), Nigeria, Indonesia, Equitorial Guinea. Air Drilling- Yemen (H2S), Pakistan (H2S). Highlights: Drilled Membede 1 Agips first horizontal well in Nigeria. Drilled Jade 1, Exons deep water project in Angola.
1984-1990 DF&E TRINIDAD SERVICES – Operations Manager (Fluids)
Developed an LSND system utilizing 60% Sea Water with ATOC Consultant to reduce cost
20 to 40%. Responsible for Sales, Logistics, Warehousing, Well Cost analysis, Programs, Tenders, Product Introduction. Testing and Supervision of field drilling fluids (mud) engineers. Specialized in PHPA systems.Highlights: Implemented 20-40% reduction in well cost in Poui field.Implemented first successful use of Oil soluble resins in Amoco Trinidad 1982-1984 Caribbean Well Services, Trinidad - Rig Supervisor.
Supervised the day to day operations of a rig drilling for the Government.
Liased directly with Government Engineers.
1976- 1982 Baroid Trinidad Services - Senior Drilling Fluids Engineer. Trinidad and Barbados. Senior Engineer to AMOCO Trinidad Oil Co. and Mobil Exp. Barbados, responsible for Programs, Recaps, Stock control, Daily rig supervision.
1974 - 1976 Well Services Ltd. - Driller. Began as a Trainee Driller and worked up through the ranks to Driller.
