DRILLING ENGINEER/CONSULTANT
Well planning and operations support for the drilling of +/-1,300m (4,300ft) directional brine wells on Matarandiba Island, Bahia, Brazil. Contract negotiation with the drilling contractor for the rig; and with service companies for drilling fluids, cementing, logging, directional drilling and all other drilling support services.

2006 – 2007:
HALLIBURTON PROJECT MANAGEMENT - FALCON OIL & GAS, MAKO, HUNGARY
DRILLING CONSULTANT
Operations supervision for the drilling of deep (6,000m - 20,000ft), high pressured (2.23sg - 18.5ppg), high temperature (230° C - 450° F) exploratory land wells employing a Crosco 3,000 hp rig. "Underbalanced" and "Managed Pressure" drilling techniques, utilizing high pressure rotating heads and strictly controlled fluid densities and rheologies, were employed to maintain bottom hole hydrostatic and circulating pressures at approximate balance with formation pressures.

2004 – 2006: HALLIBURTON INTEGRATED PROJECTS, VILLAHERMOSA, MEXICO
DRILLING CONSULTANT
Operations supervision for 14,500ft (4400m) directional wells drilled and completed on turnkey contract for Pemex, onshore Mexico. Managed Pressure drilling techniques were employed while drilling the production intervals of the wells by use of high pressure rotating heads and nitrified foam or "two phase" (water/N2) drilling fluids. Bottom-hole hydrostatic and circulating pressures were maintained near balance with producing formation pressures at 4 to 6 ppg (.5 to. 7 sg). Production liners were cemented using nitrogen-lightened lead slurries.

2000 – 2003:
COASTAL OIL & GAS CORPORATION / EL PASO PRODUCTION, PARANÁ, BRAZIL
DRILLING CONSULTANT - OPERATIONS SUPPORT MANAGER
(2000 – 2001): Supervision of Queros Galvão rig No I, drilling and testing 11,000 to 16,000ft (3350-4900m) exploratory land wells in Paraná, Brazil. Employment of mist and foam drilling fluids to reduce bottom hole pressures, and down-hole hammers to improve rate of penetration through long sections of igneous rock. Nitrified drilling fluid and a high pressure rotating head were employed to maintain bottom-hole hydrostatic and circulating pressures slightly less than estimated formation pressures while drilling potential hydrocarbon-bearing formations.
(2002 – 2003): Logistics management responsibility for the two-rig drilling project; ordering and scheduling of all required materials, tools and services. Engineering support and constant monitoring of rig activities. Liaison with the drilling contractor and service companies; management of drilling location and access road construction.

1998 –2000:

DRILLING CONSULTANT
Operations supervision for the drilling and completion of 11,000 to15,000ft (3350-4550m) development and exploratory wells near Quiriquire, Eastern Venezuela.

1997 - 1998:

Operations responsibility for the drilling of two exploratory wells in the Ucayalli basin, Eastern Peru. 8,500ft and 13,500ft (2230 & 4000m) wells, utilizing a Parker Drilling Co. heli-transportable rig, and helicopter transport for all logistical support.
