Management and development of technical team by implementation focused training and development plans; Carry out technical, administrative, legal, environmental, and financial aspects of all the exploration works and programs: budgetary control, contract negotiations with the contractors, Data- Rooms, bid-rounds, convention studies, etc...

I - Sept - Oct 2008:Geoscientist Consultant, during the 1st Bid Round for Algerian Exploration Blocks.

II- Technical/Exploration Manager ( Contract: 03/ 2007 – 03 / 2008 ) for Gulfkeystone Petroleum,Ltd ( Algiers, Algeria),

Responsible for the exploration works and programs of two ( 2 ) exploration blocks and two development oil fields.

Accomplishments

* Supervising of all necessary Geological and Geophysical Contracts and liaisons with the governmental Agencies and Partners; The management and supervision of Contractors, tender processes and implementation of subcontractor works. Performing hands-on technical Geological and Geophysical Work as and when required as wall as scheduling work programme activities to ensure the timely delivery of the planed geological and Geophysical work programs;
* Geological, geophysical and Geochemical Studies, Hydrocarbon Evaluation, Play and Project Assessments, Prospect identification and generation of new exploration and appraisal wells, Research of New Exploration Opportunities, Risk Analysis(Geological and Economical Aspects ), Geological and Geophysical Works Programs. Joint Ventures, Bid round, Data rooms and Results Presentations;
* Assure and manage the regular Meetings with the Partners ( Technical Committee Meetings, Management Committee Meetings, etc );
* Prepare technical reports and participate on recommendation for direct negotiations, bid rounds, farm-out, and potential acquisition based of the integrated geological, geophysical, engineering and economic data;
* Raising standards of technical systems, reporting and presentations.

III- Head of Exploration Department ( 05 / 2000 – 11 / 2006) for the National oil and Gas Company "Sonatrach";

Responsible for the exploration projects and Programs in North Algeria, plans, budget, management, training programs. Management of various projects and different technical teams and support personals. Co ordinate between other departments HSE and Present results to the management.

Accomplishments

* Co ordination between the exploration Departments, reporting to the exploration manager, presentation of exploration programs and results;
* Projects management and Prospects generation and risk analysis, Results interpretation and supervise the quality and the deadlines of the exploration works and programs ;
* Performing hands-on technical Geological and Geophysical Work as and when required as wall as scheduling work programme activities to ensure the timely delivery of the planed geological and Geophysical work programmes;
* Carry out the procedures, contracts and use the latest methods and programs to reduce the exploration risk and the coast of the work programs ;
* Responsible for the training and development of the human resources and carry out all the administrative works of the Department;
* Collaborate with the administrative, training, legal, financial, environmental and others departments to respects the procedures of the Exploration Division, of the company and the government ;
* Participate to the internal and external management meetings, bid rounds, presentation of the exploration results and new opportunities to the management, participate to the technical meetings and presentation, technical and management committees with the Partners

IV- Chief Geologist (05 / 1991 - 05 / 2000) within SONATRACH, Algiers, Algeria;

In charge of all the exploration activities In North Algeria. Management of Five (05) Explorations Projects and Twenty( 20) engineers with multidisciplinary skills and qualifications. Responsible for the Prospects generation, supervising of exploration work, Annual budget and plans, Training and coaching geoscientists, etc..

* Co ordinate between the different projects and different teams;
* Carry out all the geological, geophysical, geochemical studies and reports;

Promoted to Senior Geologist, responsible for Exploration work programs, prospect generation, exploration and appraisal wells localisations over the exploration blocks in the S.E.Constantine Basin.
