Role Profile:
Responding directly to the Protection Operations Manager, co-ordinating and managing the operations of Sembcorp's operational resources (Britain's largest chemical / Hydrocarbon Emergency Response Department).

Key tasks/Responsibilities:

- The lead the departments Safety, Health & Environment processes.
- To lead, manage and develop the Station Commander Team – including Performance Management, training & development and resourcing.
- To be responsible for manpower planning and resourcing.
- To manage customer operational interfaces.
- To manage and audit internal standards & competencies.
- To develop and control the Protection annual training and manpower budgets.
- To liaise at a strategic level with customers and external emergency services.
- To lead partnership approaches with teams to develop morale and culture.
- In liaison with the technical engineer to be responsible for the maintenance of the operational equipment & vehicle fleet.
- To integrate with the Emergency Planning team to meet customer demands on a 24-hour per day call out system.
