OBJECTIVE

PROFILE
- Over 13 years of strong mechanical experience in equipment design in EPCM and Fabrication industries.
- Experienced in Oil Sands SAGD projects, Refinery projects, Petrochemical and Chemical Industries projects.
- I have handled following major equipment
* Treater – 4,877 mm ID x 36,576 mm S/S Horizontal Dual Polarity Electrostatic Treater o Design pressure 1,470 kPag, and temperature of 163°C
o Designed for Dilbit flow rate of 324,102 kg/hr
* FWKO – 5,791 mm OD x 19,182 S/S Horizontal Free Water Knock Out Drums o Design pressure 1,470 kPag, and temperature of 163°C
o Designed for Dilbit flow rate of 380,283 kg/hr and Produced water flow rate 588,123 kg/hr
* High Pressure Steam Separator – 1,371 mm ID x 8,534 mm S/S vertical vessel c/w SS vanes o Design pressure 14,700 kPag and temperature of 343°C. Shell thickness 89mm (3.5")
o Designed to process 384,540 kg/hr of 75% steam. Separation efficiency of 99.7 % and 100 % for more than 8 microns of droplets removal from steam.
* Diluent Stripper Column – 5,487 mm ID x 28,823 mm T/T vertical vessel o Design pressure 525 kPag and temperature 350°C.
o Material of construction CS and SA-264 (CS+317L Clad), Internals SS 317L
- Experienced in detailed design calculation reports, preparation of engineering data sheets, bid documents, bid evaluation & recommendations, preparation of purchase requirement (MRP), shop fabrication drawings, trouble shooting of design problems resulting from shop and field capabilities and final documentation.
- Have good knowledge of welding and non-destructive testing.
- Fully conversant with ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1, TEMA (R, B, C), ASME (B16.5, B16.47, B31.3), BS 5500, API (650), UBC, NBC, AISC.
- Fully conversant with material specifications (ASME Sec II – Parts A,B,C,D, ASTM, DIN, BS), welding requirements (Sec IX), PWHT / NDE / MDMT requirements. Interact with all combination of materials like carbon steel, stainless steel, HIC and NACE resistant steels, and non-ferrous material.
- Wind and seismic analysis, Zick analysis, Nozzle reinforcement calculations (self reinforced, axial, radial), pressure calculations (internal & external), flange design, tube-sheets, local load analysis (WRC 107, BS 5500), support design (saddle, leg, lug, skirt), lifting arrangement.
- Hands-on experience with design handbooks such as Bedner, Megyesy, Brownell & Young, Moss etc.
- Fully familiar with PFD, P&ID, HAZOP reviews and model reviews.
- Technical coordination among various disciplines, vendors and clients.
- Excels in fast paced environment; successfully meets critical deadlines.
