o The budget model will contain current capital forecast and production forecast (that Senior Commercial Advisor will have obtained from Technical Manager)
o The budget model will also reflect the current drilling schedule and well status (1P, 2P, exploration etc.)
* Take rolled up capital, operating expenditure and production forecast outputs by month from budget model and create PEEP (Petroleum economics software package) economic cases
* Run extensive numbers of PEEP cases for each concession/project and upon sign off by Senior Commercial Advisor, correspond all PEEP reporting to Budgeting & Planning, Net Asset Value (NAV) & Reserves groups in Dallas. Minimum quarterly.
* Manage monthly update in PEEP for Management Committee approval prices
* Work with Technical Manager (for inputs) to complete all AFE (authorised forecast expenditure) economics in PEEP. Sign off economics/checks by Senior Commercial Advisor
* Work-up, understand and regularly test new fiscal Excel model and calibrate with PEEP economic models to create an alternative modelling tool
* Create new sensitivity modelling options/flexibility within fiscal Excel model to enable rapid modelling of alternative scenarios to be performed if necessary that would take time to engineer in the more rigid PEEP structure
* Act as main contact person between Pioneer and Schlumberger for all PEEP enquiries/problems/testings.
