Deepwater Drilling Manger (12-'06 – 4-'08) retired

* Drilled two wells in 2900' water depth in Garden Banks area.
* Managed the FMC fabrication of two EHXT trees
* Managed the fabrication and prepared installation procedures for a Dril-Quip Vertical Tree on a third well in Garden Banks. Tree was order and delivered in two months.
* Coordinated with Helix Well Ops group to convert Q4000 intervention rig to a drilling and completion vessel and obtain MMS approvals
* Managed FMC fabrications of a slim bore EVST tree for use with reduced ID surface stacks on deepwater projects.
* Prepare Completion Program for the well to use EVST slim bore system.

Operation Superintendent and Senior Drilling Engineer (6-'01 – 12-'06)

* Supervise and engineer on the offshore continental shelf GOM drilling program which drilled over 100 wells utilizing two to four drilling rigs.
* Assisted in Completion and Facility installations.
* These wells have included the installation of three mud line trees and 2 sub sea trees.
* The program resulted in the company growing from net worth of $400 million to $1.4 billion.
* Company was sold to Helix ERT in July 2006

* Managed the offshore operations for 25 producing wells in the Louisiana State and Federal waters producing 6000 BOPD and 15000 MCFD.

Deep Water Production Supt. and Senior Operations Engineer ('96 - '97)

* Supervised Production Operations on the Garden Banks 388 FPF and EI 315 Facility. The GB 388 FPF is a converted semi-submersible MODU anchored in 2000' of water in the Gulf of Mexico as a production and drilling facility. The unit was producing 12,000 BOPD and 23,000 MCFD from six sub sea wells.

Accomplishments as Deep Water Production Superintendent o Designed Revised Chemical Injection Method: The chemical injection thermoplastic hoses in the sub sea umbilical prematurely failed as a result of incompatibility with paraffin solvents. This would have resulted in an expenditure of $2,000,000 to replace the umbilical in order to maintain production. I designed a backdoor path for the chemical injection at a cost of $100,000. The system utilized existing steel lines which would not be subject to deterioration.

Offshore Drilling and Production Superintendent ('90 - '95)

* Managed Santa Fe's Gulf of Mexico drilling and production operations. Producing properties in the Gulf of Mexico included eight manned, six unmanned and two sub sea completions producing 100,000 mcf/d. Responsibilities included:

o Drilling: engineering, contract negotiations, contracting third party services and supervising drilling foreman.

o Completions/Workovers: reviewed and approved engineering procedures, contracted third party services, supervised operations o Production: supervised production foreman, assured compliance with Minerals Management Services regulations, assured environmental and safety programs were followed, negotiated labor transportation and sharing agreements.

o Oil Spill Coordinator: assured in-house spill team was prepared for fast response to any oil spill.

* Equipment Modifications for Aleutian Key Drilling Contract with Mobil Equatorial Guinea Inc.:
o Three month temporary assignment in FELS shipyard Singapore o Implement my design modifications to handle Mobil sub sea trees o Installed third mud pump o Increase deck space o Modified diesel tank for synthetic oil

* Performed engineering and management of 300 wells from south Texas to Louisiana.
* Environmentally remediate several sludge pits and renovated the tank battery/water disposal system in a 40 year old field in central Louisiana. Brought these fields and several others into profitability through workovers and development drilling.
