* New building of a revolutionary Pro-To type Coal Unloader in China.
* Conversion of an Accommodation Barge into a maintenance and support barge for the Unloader Unit built in China. Install mooring systems. Install power generation systems to support the Unloader.

* Marine Manager & Interphase Coordinator for Frontier Drilling to re-activate, refurbish, upgrade and put in service THREE (3) old laid up Drill-Ships. Project costs ranged from US$ 20.00 to 60.00 million. The vessels age ranged from 50 to 20 years. All three projects were completed on time and within budget.
* Superintending assistance to an internationally renowned owner for 165,000 CBM LNG carrier.
* Providing Technical & Superintending Support services to Acomarit Pte Ltd, Singapore, when the company was in need of additional external support.
* Project Manager to Titan Cruise Lines, USA for converting a Car & Passenger Ferry to a floating casino, to be stationed in US waters.
* Marine & Engineering Manager to Olympian Cruises USA, to inspect and carry out feasibility study to convert Three (3) Car & Passenger ferries into a Floating Casino, to be uses in US waters.
* Engaged as Project Manager by Essar Construction Limited in India, to lay a 9.5 km, 31 inch submarine outfall pipeline from a coastal town in Gujarat to the sea. The pipelay work involved work to be done mainly during high tides, anchor handling, using outdated mooring systems and pipelay equipment like tensioners etc. Project was started in November 2004 and was required to be completed by 15th May 2005. The last pipe was welded and laid on 13th may 2005.
* Project Expeditor to KBR at AMC Kuantan, Malaysia to ensure timely delivery of 23 units of extremely complicated and high-spec pressure vessels for the Arthit Development Project in Thailand. I was contracted into the project in April 2006 and was asked to ensure deliveries are made in time and that the last unit should be in Singapore by 30th September. The Project was completed with one day to spare.
* Engaged by L&T India and worked together with Mr. John Houldcroft of E3M, in preparing a full technical and design specification for a 3000 Ton Crane & Pipelay Barge. Work scope also covered technical data review; review of various marine, electrical, piping, pipelay & 3000 T heavy lift Crane systems. Review of all P&IDs, HAZOPs review, identification and specification of machinery choice, makers and sourcing vendors. Meeting with Ship Design Consultant in Rotterdam and Finland. Preparation of technical specifications for obtaining shipyard quotes. Identification and review of various shipyards in India, Singapore and Middle East. Assisting in finalisation of shipyard.
* Project Engineer (Client's Rep) with PTTEP commenced in March 2007 to June 2008. I was contracted by PTTEP (Thailand) to be their representative for a FPSO contract which they have awarded to EOCP/EMAS Offshore, Singapore. EMAS/EOCP were required to provide an FPSO to PTTEP at the North Arthit Development Field, which should go on stream and commence production of Gas & Condensate from 15th August 2008.

EMAS/EOCP scope of work covers following:

1. To provide an FPSO (a Tanker of Suez Max size around 120,000 DWT).
2. To modify, convert, upgrade, and install Production & Processing units on the vessel which can handle minimum Gas Processing Facility of 150.00 million CFT, and capable of storing 600,000 barrels of condensate.
3. Mooring & riser system which can be disconnected quickly in case of weather emergencies.
4. To be anchored/ moored and to be able receive Oil & Gas from the North Arthit field in Gulf of Thailand.
5. To have the vessel commissioned and ready to go into service by 15th August 2008 in location.
6. Commissioning and testing of all production and process equipment and the auxiliary support services to be completed by 31st July 2008.
7. Vessel to arrive in location latest by 15th July 2008.
8. Mooring & riser system to be connected up by 31st July 2008.

* My scope of work covered:

1. To be based in Singapore at the EMAS/ EOCP office.
2. To liaise and interact with the EMAS/EOCP team members in Singapore ranging from the Project Director to the Marine Manager and OIM, and obtain timely and authentic information about progress of work at various sites.
3. Work on the project was distributed all over the world. Majority of the shipboard work was done by Keppel Shipyard at their yards in Subic Bay, Philippines & in Singapore. Production & Process equipment were contracted to Exterran's and their associate companies in Dubai, UK & USA, Hiap Seng in Singapore, and a few other sub-contractors like EMERSON, CSE, etc.
4. I was required to visit the various sites and review the progress of work at each site.
5. To alert both PTTEP in Bangkok and the sub-contractor EMAS/EOCP if there is a drop in progress of work and if the delivery date schedule was threatened.
6. Submit weekly reports on progress of work, with my observations and findings on the work progress.
7. To attend weekly meetings between EMAS/EOCP & PTTEP in Bangkok and Singapore.
8. Visit the site at Hanover/Exterran's in Dubai once in two months. Attend the HAZOP reviews, QA/QC Audits & Close Outs, FATs of the compressor & cooler skids. Submit visit reports.
9. Visit Hiap Seng work site in Singapore, once or twice a week and submit visit reports with photos. Highlight any points of concern like delays, quality issues, and production issues.
10. Visit the shipyard in Subic Bay & Singapore. Work scope covered:

* Extension of lifecycle.
* Clearing the deck for installing the Production and Process units and skids.
* Installation of Helideck.
* Installation of new crane.
* Installation of all skid supports, pipe racks and supports for Gas gen sets etc.
* DNV survey for life cycle extension and close up survey.
* Steel renewal as required and recommended by DNV.

The vessel has sailed to location on 1st August 2008.

June 2008 to 31st January 2009:

I have just completed my assignment as Equipment & Maintenance Manager with RUBICON OFFSHORE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD, for Two FPSOs and One DP 3 Multi-Purpose Diving and Offshore Construction vessel. I was responsible for the Operations & Maintenance of the Marine & Process Equipment. Helped in establishing a PMS system and updating all surveys and establishing a Campaign Maintenance Program for the vessels.

January 1992 to June 1999:

Based in Singapore and worked with

* North South Shipmanagement Pte. Ltd, as Senior Engineer Superintendent in charge of bulk carriers operations, maintenance etc.
* Thome Shipmanagement Pte Ltd, as Senior Superintendent, Assistant Fleet Manager for Tankers & Bulk carriers.
* Thome Shipmanagement Pte. Ltd, as QA/QC Manager in-charge of complete implementation, and maintenance of the ISM and ISMA system and certification.
* V-Ships Singapore Pte Ltd as Fleet Manager for a fleet of newly built bulk carriers, LPG tanker and general cargo ships.

Scope of work covered operations and maintenance of vessels, dry-docking, classification surveys monitoring and ensuring vessels meet all class & latest IMO, SOLAS, USCG and major flag & port requirements. Operating vessels efficiently and within budget. Vessels were mainly Tankers, Bulk Carriers, Car Carriers, LPG tankers and General Cargo Ships.

From 1992 to 1999, I was the QA/QC Manager for three ship management companies in Singapore. I have over 7 years experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of the ISM, SEP, ISO & ISMA codes, on behalf of three Singapore based ship management companies. With Northsouth Shipmanagement as Quality Assurance Manager, the entire project was implemented within one year. In Thome Ship Management Pte Ltd additional responsibility included the maintenance of the ISMA code. In V.Ships Singapore Pte. Ltd, had additional responsibilities as Safety & Quality Superintendent.

Associated with following new-buildings:

Six Bulk Carriers for Owners from OSHIMA, Japan, in Singapore.
Four Product tankers in Korea.
