JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
(Baker Hughes INTEQ)
* Prepare / plan well trajectory and accurately determine well-bore proximity using "Well Architect" directional software.
* Calculate down-hole hydraulics, BHA Design & BHA analysis by using drilling software "Advantage Engineering Applications".
* Supervision and work as on site Directional Driller on various wells in Pakistan. Drilling all kinds of directional wells, medium & long radii wells, side tracks thru cement plugs, open hole sidetracks, and blind kick offs.
* To review / calculate directional survey measurements, projections, survey accuracy, survey uncertainty, directional reference systems, geographic coordinates and tool face orientation.
* Calculation of bottom-hole assembly weight, buoyancy factor, tubular tension/compression, drill-string torque and drag, buckling forces, drill-string weight distributions in high inclination wells
* Preparing BHA performance report and EOWR.
* Deals with client regarding directional drilling /MWD operations.
* Preparation of directional drilling / MWD bids for new contracts.
* Generating invoices for running directional drilling /MWD jobs.
* Recommend measures to improve equipment performance and quality of the product.
* Arrangement of materials and logistics expertise.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
( OGDCL )
* I have worked as well-site Drilling Engineer / Night Drilling Supervisor. It was a field-based job & involved in technical operations practically.
* Co-ordinate the planning, programming & execution of all rig-site activities.
* Monitor daily drilling operations & compare them with offset wells for drilling optimization to save time & cost.
* Supervise contractor services in improving job quality concerned with Directional Drilling, Fishing, Liner Hanger & Casing Cementation operations on Rig site.
* Daily drilling reporting by using Land Mark drilling software "EDM Administration & Open Wells".
* Compare and finalize pre & post analysis of drilling operations with specific conclusions and recommendations for improvements.
* Prepare well summary of each phase, mentioning drilling parameters, mud parameters, BOP testing & other operations.
* To calculate daily Hydraulics report, analyze it and suggest parameters to improve drilling efficiency.
* Keep track of performance targets for each well.
* Assist the Drilling Manager in all aspects of planning and reporting the department's activities.
* Ensure availability of required drilling equipments and long lead items.
* Verify invoices and negotiate with contractors in case of any dispute.
* Collect all relevant data from the well site and service companies as necessary for the compilation of the End of Well Report (EOWR).Prepare well end reports and propose remedial measures / lesson learned for improvement on next wells.
* Suggest the drilling parameters for Drill-off test on every bit for getting best ROP.
* Interface and work with other department members of Well Team.

* To ensure safe working condition at rig-site and implement safety program as per company policy.
* To ensure that every one working at rig-site should use proper personnel protective equipment (PPE) based upon a hazard assessment of the work place.
* Conduct daily safety meetings and pre-job safety meetings, documentation and reporting.
* Conduct safety audit every month and advise remedial measures.
* Manage and monitor compliance of the company HSE management system.
* Ensure adherence to safe working practices through active engagement with contractor's personnel, and promotion of positive HSE attitudes and learning.
