Twenty-nine years experience in production operations, twenty-five years in an offshore oil and gas environment.
Current employment is as Plant Superintendent (operations) for government gas commission. Oversee of new build, existing plant, green field and brown field gas plant upgrade. Amine sweetening of 2% H2S gas at 150mmscfd throughput. Supplying Emirates northern grid and other customers throughout the region
Previous employment is with large independent oil company in Canada as Production Supervisor/Deputy OIM on the FPSO Searose on the Grand Banks.
Previous position was Production Superintendent for Exxon aboard the FPU Zafiro Producer (ZP), Offshore Equatorial Guinea, and On Board Advisor for the Kizomba 'C' project which included two FPSO's, the Mondo and the Saxi Batuque.
Prior to the above I was with Oceaneering International as Production Superintendent on the FPSO Ocean Producer, block 4/26 offshore Angola.
Before my overseas experience, I was employed by Atlantic Power as Field Foreman on the Amoco, North West Hutton oil & gas production platform.
Prior to this employed by Ipedex, contracted to BP, As operations technician on the OPV Seillean, single well oil production system (FPSO SWOPS), prior to this employed by Dietsmann and Dan Smedvig Technical Resources, contracted to Texaco on the Tartan Alpha platform as production operator.

Actively involved in the commissioning of the 'Framo' sub sea Multi phase pumps,
New production & water injection wells, MARS solar gas compressor,
Acting company representative during sub sea control module change outs. Liaison with personnel on FPU and ROV support vessel.
Responsible for direct supervision of UK/USA/Filipino expatriate process crew. And for the training of Guinean nationals to the position of process operator.
Responsible for all third party contractor services on board when troubleshooting/dealing with process plant abnormalities and Sub Sea well intervention/work.

* XOM on site operations representative during construction of 220 TBOPD pumping module in the USA. Responsible for ensuring mechanical completion/system static comm. and dynamic comm./start up was completed as per XOM procedures when module arrived in the field. Responsible to ensure training is identified and developed for operations personnel
* As the Shutdown Manager, flawlessly executed the (various/numerous) planned shutdown of the facility for de-bottlenecking operations. Completed this shut down, incident and accident free and on schedule.
* Led the Operations team offshore, to successfully complete the unplugging of one of the remote well clusters flow lines to enable production to be re-established from this part of the field.
* Led the offshore team, including the Surveillance Engineer and third party contractors in establishing stabilized front end pressures to the MARS GL compressor to achieve steady GL flow to wells
* Assisted Operations Engineering to complete the change out of FMC sub sea control pods that had suffered loss of communication to the facility
* Developed 3 local trainees to the point that they satisfied entrance examinations to Universities in Spain and the USA
* Developed the procedures for the testing of the SSV SCSSV and USV for compliance with Exxon Mobil Operational Integrity Management.
* Developed with third party Engineering Contractor the procedures for the continued operation of the sub sea multi phase pumping system to allow continued operation with valves that can no longer be operated by facility personnel and require ROV intervention
* Developed the standard for assessing all operations personnel as per competency assessment guidelines, (as per Operational Integrity Management System). Lead the effort to have this effectively in place and complete for current personnel through 2005-6
* Assisted recognized Pipeline Engineering Company to develop and test rigorously flow line cleaning tools and the procedures for same. Trained personnel offshore in these techniques (no pigging program on the facility for the previous 7 years)
