WORK EXPERIENCE

Technical Advisor – TAM International, Inc. (January 2007 – January 2009)
As a Technical Advisor to both internal and external customers my primary duties included performing analysis of oil, gas and water well issues and develop solutions utilizing downhole tools, especially for inflatable elastomer type packer applications using the SlikPak inflatable packer setting tool system. Evaluation of new markets, production of technical reports, procedures, presentations, bulletins and research papers, provide project management interface with customers and examination of well applications and recommendations for equipment. Created and performed verbal, written and multimedia presentations for clients and trade shows. Interface closely with Engineering Department to perform testing and evaluation of new and existing inflatable packer systems. Secondary duties included filling in as an Applications Engineer for the mechanical downhole inflatable packer systems.

Operations Manager/Sales Engineer – Superior Energy Services (August 2005 – July 2006)
While working for a market leader in oil and gas well intervention services, and owner of the largest lift boat fleet in the Gulf of Mexico, I served as a Sales Engineer over the Gulf of Mexico region soliciting oil and gas electric line well intervention services, developed marketing strategies, and assisted in operations management. Developed and maintained client relationships throughout the GoM region with responsibilities in Marketing, Contract Sales, and Human Relations. Created and performed verbal, written and multimedia presentations for major oil/gas operators that led to the development of my clients' product knowledge and well intervention solutions. Fully responsible for the development, support, and growth of my entire account base with continued long term client relations. In a time of need for the company I became the Operations Manager over the East Texas region overseeing the day to day operations of 3 cased hole electric line logging units and 1 pipe recovery unit as well as 5 engineers and crews. Performed all job scheduling, engineering, and organization as well as technical field support. Maintained all equipment and personnel data/records as well as financial budgeting, asset and material management. While working for the inventor, developer, and world market leader of the down hole Well Tractor I performed as the Business Development Manager soliciting oil and gas well intervention services, developed marketing strategies, attended trade shows and assisted in operations management. Developed and maintained client relationships throughout the North/South America and Gulf of Mexico regions with responsibilities in Marketing, Contract Sales, and Human Relations. Created and performed verbal, written and multimedia presentations for major oil/gas operators and wireline service companies that led to the development of my clients' product knowledge. Fully responsible for the development, support, and growth of my entire account base with continued long term client relations. Also performed as a Special Projects Engineer providing technical support and services while utilizing wireline conveyed specialty down hole tools (Well Stroker/Key, Well Miller) to perform shifting of valves/sleeves, milling of plugs/packers, and removal of sand/debris. Assisted with logistics and service delivery management.

Field Engineer – Computalog USA/Precision Drilling Corporation (Sept 1999 – Feb 2003)
While working for the # 1 world wide leader in oil well electric wireline service company (division of Precision Drilling Corporation) performing electric wireline down hole operations in the cased hole division applying advanced well bore technology. Duties include use of nuclear well logging instruments at drilling rig locations and providing technical services to oilfield customers as well as soliciting sales of additional services. Additional duties include perforating, plugs/packers and cement retainers, and pressure control and site safety. Performed all planning, estimating, project management and job completion tasks. Certified as Radiation Supervisor and Explosives Supervisor to state and federal standards. Supervised and managed a field crew of one lead operator and three junior operators'.

Self-Employed Contract Sales Agent – Transport Life Ins. Co. (May 1995 – September 1999)
Appointed with Transport Life Insurance Company to provide and service Accident/Health, Long-Term Care, and Home Health Care policies. Developed and maintained client relationships throughout the Texas region with responsibilities in Marketing, Contract Sales, and Human Relations. Created and performed verbal, written and multimedia presentations for employers that led to the development of my clients' product knowledge. Fully responsible for the development, support, and growth of my entire account base with continued long term client relations.

Engineman – Department of Defense: United States Navy (February 1991 – March 1995)
Accountable for the operation, maintenance, repair, and modification of facilities emergency power plants, electrical distribution and transmission systems, and facilities work orders at Naval Computer Telecommunications Station (NCTS Sigonella, Sicily). Supervised and managed the operation, maintenance, and repair of nine emergency power diesel generators (20-1800KW), numerous portable field generators (20KW), two 250 KVA Uninterruptible Power Systems (U.P.S), and all associated electrical and mechanical systems including switchgear, switchboards, and lighting systems. Duties also included facilities maintenance of all hydraulic/pneumatic systems, boiler/steam systems, A/C & R and heating systems, HVAC, water treatment/purification plant, and heavy-duty tactical field equipment. Performed the planning, estimating and completion of numerous electrical and mechanical projects. Also performed as the Divisional Supply officer (E-6) while assigned as an E-4.

Plant/Field Mechanic – Pool Well Service Inc. (January 1989 – February 1991)
Contracted with Phillips Petroleum/GPM as a Plant/Field Mechanic at the Fullerton and Andrews Gas plants. Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all gas booster plant systems, field telemetry, electrical/electronics, auxiliary power systems, and mechanical systems. Installed and maintained Remote Data Telemetry and SCADA systems at 23 field boosters. Performed as a Field Operator during region-wide six (6) major field/plant Shut Downs and Start-Ups. Assisted the R & D team on a high performance air-powered internal combustion engine project. Maintained White GMC, Waukesha Pierce, Alco, and Detroit natural gas/diesel engines and all associated systems. Also performed maintenance and repair of heavy-duty Chevrolet, Ford, Peterbilt, International, and Kenworth field equipment.
