Mechanical Design Engineer – Rotating Equipment
Allow me to take this opportunity to introduce myself as a "Mechanical Design Engineer –Rotating Equipment" with verifiable track records.
I have extensive experience in rotating equipment- pumps, compressors, motors, diesel engines, and offshore loading facilities, piping and pipeline systems, mechanical packages, designed and developed 150 M3/h centrifugal pumps, which reduced the operating cost by more than 20%. The test result was published in international reputable journals and conference proceedings. I have solved the performance dispute of motor-pump of Kumara Corporation with their clients, reviewed the design of the coolant pump of OE600A reciprocating engine and suggested the required modifications of coolant pump testing facilities, developed the testing procedures. I have hands on experience in designing, developing, testing & selection of pumps in various applications including API 610 pumps within EPCM environment.
I worked as a technical expert in different EPC Oil & Gas processing projects, involved with all phases of the EPC project, including pre-feasibility study, review of design concepts, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) & detail design, procurement, construction & commissioning documentation, & Field Inspections. I am experienced in managing the design and development department of Steel and Engineering Corporation and managed about 10 engineers focusing the designing, developing and testing of pumps, marine propulsion, diesel engines and their components.
My solid oral and written communication skills have been demonstrated through my lecturing in multicultural classroom environments and presenting several research papers at international seminars. In addition, I would like to mention that I am a member of the Association of Professional Engineers Ontario, Canada and American Society for Quality, ASQ.
As such, I believe that my verifiable track records of experience in rotating equipment, their reliability analysis, communication and leadership skill would enable me to be an ideal candidate for the position of "Mechanical Design Engineer – Rotating Equipment", thereby greatly contributing to its organizational goals and objectives.
I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss my credentials with you in a personal interview for further evaluation, since an employment opportunity would be mutually beneficial. I am a Canadian Citizen and willing to relocate myself for a prospective opportunity.
Yours Sincerely,
Abul Hossain, PhD (Mech.) CQE, P.Eng.
