The main objective being able to create a Safe, Healthy and Environmentally acceptable working conditions throughout the project ensuring that.

a) The method statement regarding Health, Safety & Environment policy prepared by the line management and construction regulations applicable to the project are being complied with.
b) The owners and consultants' site safety regulation, procedures and practices are being effectively applied and followed.

* OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Administration, USA
* NASP (National Association of Safety Professional)
* First Aid Training
* Basic Scaffolding Inspection
* Fire Fighting Procedures.

Having more than 6 years of field experience in major Civil Engineering & Oil Projects in Egypt and UAE. Fully familiar with various aspects of HSE multidiscipline works in accordance with ISO 1400 & OSHA 18001.

Job Description

Reporting to project Manager

„« Reporting to the Project manager & responsible for the HSE issues to all levels of organization as per the requirements.

Duties:

ƒæ To develop awareness among employees about the necessity of a safety programmed in their routine activities, also to encourage them to take safety as a habit or part of life more than mandatory.
ƒæ To develop the company's documentations like HSEMS Plan, Road Safety Plan, Waste Management Plan, Emergency Plan etc. pertaining to the client requirements.
ƒæ Prepare Daily / Weekly/ safety reports returns for submission to client.
ƒæ Prepare Accident / Incident reports to find out the causes and adopting proper preventive measures.
ƒæ To investigate all Accidents & Near misses for root causes & recommendations to prevent similarities. Prepare reports & follow up on recommendation.
ƒæ Report any lapses, near missies immediately and analyze different near miss occurrences and take appropriate action to avoid the repetition of same / similar occurrence in the future.
ƒæ Ensure to conduct Safety Audits / Inspection on the Site, Camp & all other facilities.
ƒæ Prepare Activity Risk Assessment to all jobs before the start of any job with the Project Team.
ƒæ Ensure to conduct various trainings including Emergency Procedures, Construction Safety Training, Office Training, Drivers Training etc.
ƒæ Ensure to prepare all reports based on Road Safety as per the client requirements & Coordinate for the Road safety issues.
ƒæ Ensure to provide HSE Orientation for the new employees in co-ordination with Safety Department.
ƒæ Ensure conducting Tool Box Meeting for Worker and supervisors.
ƒæ Ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all employees at the required area and situations.
ƒæ Ensure all Work Permit conditions are fully adhered.
ƒæ Responsible for all HSE educational programs.
ƒæ Liaise with the client on all HSE activities.
ƒæ Make employees to think of various Hazardous / Unsafe conditions involved in various operations before they are starting the work and hence to avoid unnecessary loss of man-hours & Property.
ƒæ Inspect equipment, machineries and tools to ensure its safest and proper use to avoid and bypassing of safety devices.
