1. Planning & Development Department Manager (Dar Al-Yaum Holding) (October 2006 – Present)
Assigned as a Planning & Development Department Manager in October 2006, department contains three sections: Planning, Organizational Development, and Quality. The following tasks & roles are performed by/through the Planning & Development Department including the team as well as the senior management:
* Heading Business Development Projects: Establishing Printing Complex in the Western Province, and Commercial Tower
* Develop & update 5 years strategic direction with a yearly revision for the Corporate to be reviewed and approved by the board
* Developing and updating the Balanced Scorecards of the company on yearly basis
* Develop plans for each SBU as well as the consolidated plan yearly
* Develop yearly plans for the shared services including projects & KPI's
* Developing and cascading the BSC for each SBU
* Prepared an emergency plan for the year 2009 including a report about the affections of the financial crises on the advertisement and associated businesses, and prepared the strategic recommendations
* Following up & reporting the company performance to the board including a comparison with the previous year and with the business plan
* Report the company performance yearly to the General Assembly
* Report updates about projects to the board as well as to other board committees
* Perform other tasks given by the board and the M.D. such as performing feasibility study or financial analyses
* Participate in a project to turn Dar Alyaum to be a holding company having several companies (SBU's) including Structure, Governance, and Legal
* Hold all manuals, policies & procedures, and organization structure documents
