DUTIES:
Snr Inst. Engineer Employed by Wood Group (Gas Plant Services) to undertake duties of Senior Instrument Engineer. Duties encompassed those of Instrument Engineer. In addition the acceptance of proposed changes to design, final approval of all submitted drawings and technical documentation was also a requirement of the position.
- Supervise Discipline and Graduate Engineers, ensuring that all allocated responsibilities are dealt with accordingly.
- Ensuring that all the Client business drivers and WGE performance incentives are fully understood by all discipline personnel being supervised.
- Maintaining technical integrity within WGE Instrumentation Department.
- Temporarily seconded to Site (Shell St.Fergus) to act as Construction Engineer to aid in construction and address implementation of Electrical and Instrumentation projects.

Inst. Engineer Employed by Wood Group (Gas Plant Services, NAM Off-shore Compression, Goldeneye On/Off-shore Projects)
- Duties include the production of cost effective engineering reports, documents and deliverables for inclusion in work packs and design books in conjunction with all personnel. Client and Vendor Liaison, Production of Commissioning Method Statements, and subsequent drafting of modified Operating Procedures, attending and validating both Factory and Site Acceptance Testing. Co-ordinating third party involvement within construction process (Minor Services Contracts) etc.

Foreman Employed by Wood Group as Instrument Foreman responsible for a dedicated team of up to twenty Instrument Technicians on numerous Construction Projects (Plant Changes) at Shell St.Fergus. Duties included the utilising of resources to achieve objectives and deadlines both safely and efficiently, On-Site Design Modifications, Inspection, Attending daily Progress Meetings with Project Management and Completion of relevant Control Documentation.
