SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:
I am an American engineer with over 20 years experience at various positions in drilling, including mud engineer, rig supervisor, drilling engineer, research engineer, technical instructor, drilling engineering advisor, drilling superintendent, drilling project manager and general manager of a small service company. I have worked in several locations including the California, Texas and Louisiana, GOM, Virgin Islands, Canada, UK, Norway, Holland, Abu Dhabi, Somalia, Nigeria, Brazil, Venezuela, Kazakhstan and Indonesia.

I speak fluent Portuguese and adequate Spanish. I am married to a Brazilian and we have no children. We can move to any location that is reasonably safe. Our home base will be either Rio de Janeiro or perhaps Houston.

Cledop West Africa Ltd, Port Harcourt, Nigeria
General Manager of small Nigerian drilling fluids company.
Fulltime position at $14000/month plus house, car and driver.
Reason for wanting to leave: I am still with Cledop but have notified them I am looking for another job. Cledop does not have enough work to keep me at my position and salary level.

2001-2002 ExxonMobil, Lagos, Nigeria
Drilling Engineering Advisor on production and exploration wells offshore Nigeria.
Contract position at $930/day
Reason for leaving: Decrease in drilling activity at ExxonMobil.

Summer-Fall 2001 BHP Billiton, Houston, Texas
Drilling Engineer for a gas well in West Cameron, GOM. Depth of 14430 ft, Max MW = 14.7 ppg.
Contract position at $800/day
Reason for leaving: I joined BHP to work in Latin America. I agreed to do one job in the GOM. Meanwhile, the work in Bolivia was canceled so when I finished the well in West Cameron, I left BHP to take a job with ExxonMobil in Nigeria.

Reason for leaving: I was on a short-term contract to fill in until a fulltime Halliburton employee was available. When he became available, they released me from my contract position.

Reason for leaving: End of the project. Addax offered me a permanent position but I declined so that I could spend some time at home during my youngest child’s last year in school.

B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
Approximately 30 short courses in drilling technology and safety while with Baroid and Mobil Oil.

I speak fluent Portuguese and adequate Spanish. I am married but have no children at home. I have excellent computer skills with the main business software, such as MS Office. I have also worked with many different drilling engineering software packages.
