Dear Sir.

I would like to apply for the post advertised on your web page. I am a mechanical engineer with a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering (Msc), my mother tongue is Spanish and I have a good standard of spoken and written English.

My previous experience includes giving advice in mechanical design with the most important Finite Elements Analysis (FEA: Nastran and Patran) and other simulation stress and strain softwares (more than 6 years), I can also use the most importants Computer Aided Design (CAD: Mechanical Desktop and pro/ENGINEER).

I am specialist in hard metals and have good skills in chemical processes, metallurgy techniques and Electronic Microscopy (SEM) and have worked and made publications in the most important Petroleum Company in Venezuela (PDVSA) about mechanical design on Drilling equipments, selection and studies of new drilling system for specific places, planning and supervision of major overhauls and maintenance of drilling equipment, I have worked in drill bit design in one of the best Venezuela´s company manufacturer of drills bits.

I can work in Field or R&D departments. , my field experience includes selection, design and studies of new drilling systems for specific areas, planning and supervision of major overhauls and maintenance of drilling equipment, I have experience of development projects, early phase value assessment of subsea installations/systems, marine operations or drilling and well operations. Finally, I have worked in drill bit design and complex mechanical components for one of the best company manufacturers of petroleum drill bits and core bits, also I have worked in Environmental Engineering for INTERPROIL in application of techniques in drainage and recuperation of hydrocarbons in petroleum pits and water treatment
