Career Summary

Over 26 years experience, 16 of which are with major foreign oil companies employment in specialized gas field operations which have included pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in the onshore and offshore Oil and Gas industry. This experience covers operations, maintenance, project design input, project coordination and working with gas membrane technology in Pakistan and Indonesia. 2000 – Present GRISSIK PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT, Gulf Resources (Grissik) Ltd.

Accountable for the Commissioning and start-up of future Gas Projects. These to include Sumpal Project, Suban Project, South Jambi B Block Project, Dayung and Gelam Compression Projects. The accountability includes OJT requirements of all operators and specialized training for the maintenance staff involved in the Project commissioning and start-up, plus ensuring all required procedures for the Project and Government regulatory board are completed to a high standard. Budget accountability is also required.

Responsible for setting up and managing on site EPC contractor to construct and start-up small maintenance capital projects. Accountable for the management of an inspection group comprising Safety Inspectors, QC /Inspections, Civil Inspectors and Project Supervisors. As above Budget accountability is required. The job position requires the management of two Cost Centers.

1998 – 2000 GAS OPERATIONS SUPERINTENDENT, Gulf Resources (Grissik) Ltd.

Responsible for the overall Operations activities of the Corridor Block gas processing facility, which includes the Gas Processing Plant, Field Production Facilities and associated pipelines. Coordinated all start-up activities at the beginning of the project. Reports to the Gas Operations Manager.

Duties: The organization, disposition and control of manpower, equipment and facilities assigned to Corridor Block Gas processing Facility. Responsible for the compilation of the capital and expense budget for the processing facility.
Development of the Training Programs for Processing Facility Operations personnel. Monitors and evaluates job performance skills of all department employees.

Responsible for ensuring that work is carried out in according to applicable industry standards and Codes of Practice and complies with all aspects of the Company Safety and Environmental Policy.

1996 –1998 PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR, Tridyne Projects Inc.
Project Coordinator for a local Engineering firm, coordinating activities
For projects including gas plants, compressor stations and facility modifications.

1991 - 1996 PANCANADIAN NOVA SCOTIA (Formally Lasmo Nova Scotia)

1991 – 1994 & 1996 SENIOR PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR, Lasmo Nova Scotia
Actively involved with the commissioning and start-up of Canada's first offshore production platform. (170,000 BPD of Produced Fluids).

Planned and supervised all production and maintenance activities during a 14-day roster period, for a Jack-up rig complete with two production trains, two jackets and a CALM buoy mooring system. The Senior Production supervisor was also the Deputy Offshore Installation Manager.

1995 – 1996 PRODUCTION SUPERINTENDENT, Lasmo Pakistan
Responsible for the commissioning and start-up of Pakistan's first commercial application of a membrane gas processing facility.
Utilizing a (UOP Process 250 MMSCFD) design.

Management of production operations from the wellheads through to sales ensuring that contract production nominations where met. Developed and administered a permit to work system. Prepared and administered an operating budget. Provided and administered an on the job training program. This senior staff position was based on a 28 on \ 28 off rota

1988 - 1991 OIL AND GAS FIELD CONSULTANT, Noerco Canada Limited
Field Project Coordinator/Inspector for the construction of compressor stations and gas plants. Trouble shooting operating problems. Conducted
Mechanical surveys of oil and gas facilities to determine asset value.

1981 - 1988 PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR, Mobil Oil Indonesia (Arun Field)
Responsible for the daily production of high-pressure gas wells producing
900 MMSCFD of wet gas, with an average injection rate of 200 MSCFD.
Prepared and administered facility operating budget. Assisted with the coordination of field Operations OJT training program.

1978 - 1981 BOARD OPERATOR TO PROCESS SUPERVISOR, P.T. Arun LNG plant (Mobil Oil)
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of three LNG trains
(300 MMSCFD each) in a plant consisting of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide removal units, gas scrubbing and LNG manufacturing. Involved with the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of the above three trains.

Trained Indonesian process supervisors and operators to function independently. Assisted with the development of National employees, input into OJT training program and training aids. Respected local customs and religious practices.

1976 -1978 PLANT FOREMAN, Dome Petroleum's Limited
Responsible for two gas plants each processing 50 MMSCFD of sour and wet gas. Supervised four plant operators and four field operators.

1974 -1976 SENIOR PLANT OPERATOR, Chevron Canada
Supervised junior operators ensuring that safe and correct operating procedures were being carried out. Other duties included maintenance
And turn-around coordination and the required measures to operate the plant with safety and efficiency as a priority.

The plant had an inlet of 500 MMSCFD of sour and wet gas. We recovered 18,000 BBLS/day of condensate, 36,000 BBLS/day of LPG's and 3,000 L.T. of sulfur.

1969 - 1974 PLANT OPERATOR, Amoco Canada
Started working with Amoco in the plant Maintenance department,
Working all areas of the plant. Transferred to operations department
Learning and working in eventually all operating areas.
