2/2003-9/2004 Independent Consultant, Universal Compression Inc. (Brazil).
Providing full array of technical support, analyzing, servicing and troubleshooting for all makes/models of reciprocating gas compressors and equipments installed in the pipeline and gas compression facilities owned by UCI. Assisting in properly scheduling maintenance of units to prevent unscheduled maintenance issues. Performing functions to disassemble and/or assemble units at job sites. Assisting in Commissioning, start up and operation of 13 compressor packages in the Sao Paulo area (TBG-Brazil). Maintained relations between the customer and the organization on all service matters.

2001- 2003 International Technical Support, The Hanover Company (Venezuela).
Providing technical support and troubleshooting to achieve reliable operation of the compressor packages in the eastern region of Venezuela. Assisting in properly scheduling maintenance of units to prevent unscheduled maintenance issues. Performing functions to disassemble and/or assemble units at job sites. Directed technical support issues to the appropriate technical service resources and followed through to final resolution. Worked in Colombia as part of a team of engineers providing guidance and oversight (contractor supervision, technical & strategic project advise, support, etc. as required) during the execution of construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up phases of the Oil and Gas Floreña Project for British Petroleum (BP).

1998-2001 Customer Service Manager, Cooper Cameron (Venezuela). Responsible for business development opportunities, providing aftermarket parts and services for the oil and gas industry in the east region of Venezuela. Coordinated the shop day to day operations of all in-shop production work and outside services; overseeing direct personnel assigned to the shop. Responsible for safety and organization of the shop area and yard for employees and customers, in order to provide tours for the purpose of promoting in-house capabilities for all aspects of the business. Traveled on aftermarket parts and services promotion to Argentina and Bolivia.

1985-1998 Maintenance Supervisor, PDVSA (Venezuela).
Coordinating and conducting all the maintenance activities involving preventive, corrective maintenance and major overhaul at the offshore gas compression platforms on the Maracaibo Lake. Also involved on the minor and major maintenance inspections for General Electric LM-2500, Rolls Royce RB-211 gas generators and related centrifugal rotating machinery. Duties included the rebuilding of Dresser Rand and Cooper Natural Gas centrifugal compressors.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:
Install, analyze, maintain and ensure proper operation and/or repair of production machinery (Centrifugal and Reciprocating Equipment) in the field. Specifically experienced with Dresser Rand turbo compressor packages including GE LM2500 gas generator/DR-61/DJ-270G power turbines, 4M10/462B DR centrifugal compressors. Also experienced with Coberra 2000 and 6000 Avon & RB211 gas turbine packages including: Avon and RB211-24C Rolls Royce gas generators, RT-48/56/62 Cooper-Bessemer power turbines, and RBB & RCB C-B centrifugal compressors. Limited experience with commissioning and start up of reciprocating packages such as: Waukesha AT27GL/Ariel JGC-4, L5790GL/JGE-4, Superior 16SGT/WH-64, Waukesha L7044GSI Series Four, L7042GSI/GL. Experienced with programming and troubleshooting of Waukesha CEC's (DSM, AFM, IM and TCM II). Familiar with Caterpillar gas engine applications, installation, commissioning and operation G3500; G3500 Cooling Systems/Lubrication Systems; G3500 Ignition Systems/Starting Systems/Engine Protection Systems; G3600 Cooling Systems/Heat Recovery/Lubrication System; G3600 Engine Basics/Ignition Systems/Starting Systems/Supervisory System. Familiar with the Ariel Performance Program, Allen Bradley 5550 & SLC-500 ControlLogix Controllers, MC-Series Murphy Millennium Controllers, Woodward 2301D Load Sharing and Speed Control for Engines. Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Maintain relations between the customer and the organization on all service matters. Able to troubleshoot electrical and PLC systems as well as equipment to minimize filling down time. Provide technical support by identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical or control issues while in the field. Read and interpret technical material such as electrical, instrumentation and mechanical drawings, prints and manuals. Document, communicate and actively work on closing all start up related open action items. Establish communication, upload and download project files using Rockwell Software, FW Murphy Millennium Software and Woodward Controller Software. Provide feedback to engineering and quality assurance for the purposes of improving the design and performance of custom systems.
