B.E (Mechanical Engineering) in First class from Government College of Engineering, Salem under University of Madras in April 1993 with Eleven Years experience in Petrochemical and Power plants.

* Maintenance Planning Engineer, IBN SINA-NATIONAL METHONAL COMPANY (A SABIC Affiliate Petrochemical Company), Jubail, Saudi Arabia. (Nov. 2003-Present)
Responsible for Maintenance planning for corrective, preventive, refurbishment maintenance work orders using SAP CMMS for Rotating equipments such as Turbines, Compressor, Pumps; Static equipments such as Exchangers, Vessels, Boilers and Piping. Routine field visit to study and evaluate Notifications scope with coordination of technical documents, equipment drawings, data sheets, P & ID's. Create work order, get R&I recommendation and quality plan, plan, estimate man-hour and materials as per scope. Enter all data in SAP system, review and change work order hold codes. Coordinate with operation department for equipment shutdown and start-up duration for safe and timely completion of job.
Spares identification for Rotating Equipments, material identification for Static Equipments and Piping as per specification. For non-available spares, material and special services from outside Vendors generate Purchase Requisitions in RAMIS system and follow up with procurement for availability on targeted dates. Coordinating bidders site visit, technical clarifications, technical qualification, conducting kick-off meeting and mobilization on contract award. Review and coordinate approval of Methods Statements, Inspection & Testing Plans, Work Control and Progress Monitoring Procedure prior to mobilisation.

Responsible for all aspect of installation, commissioning, overhauling and maintenance of Engines it's auxiliaries such as Turbochargers, Separators, Compressors, Pumps, Exchangers, Boilers etc at various Power plants. Inspection of equipment installation and alignment as per plot plan, equipment drawings and data sheet. Running in condition monitoring of Engine and it's auxiliaries.
Supervision of piping, ducts and tanks fabrication, inspection, testing and installation for fuel, lube oil, water, intake, exhaust starting and steam systems as per Isometric and P&IDs. Verify materials used for conformance to specifications, witness hydro test and flushing. Provide technical support to Contractors, Diesel Mechanics, Millwrights, Pipe Fitters, Fabricators, Welders and Insulators during equipment installation and piping. Did walk-downs to verify proper construction methods were followed accordingly prepared final punch list at various power projects.

- 30,000 Hrs scheduled overhauling of 30MW LSHS based power plant having 3x 10MW MAN B&W make, model 9L58/64 DG sets and it's auxiliaries at FACOR
- Maintenance of 120 MW IPP having 6x 23MW SEMT Pielstick make, 18PC4.2 model DG set for one year under Annual Maintenance Contract at KEB, Bangalore.
- Installation of 2x3.5MW DLF make steam Turbines and 1.8MW Skoda DG set and Maintenance for one year under Annual Maintenance Contract at M/s Usha Ispat Ltd.
TRAINING UNDERGONE
* Two Weeks training of SAP 4.5B-Fanar, customized ERP for Sabic affiliate, covering Plant Maintenance, Material Management and Inventory Management modules at SABIC and Two Days RAMIS-software for Resource & Asset management, training for at IBN SINA.
* Three Months hands on training at M/s MAN B&W Diesel AG, Augsburg, Germany from August 1998 to October 1998 in the following areas.
- Large Diesel and Gas engines condition monitoring, troubleshooting and overhauling.
- MAN Turbo assembly, testing, performance monitoring and overhauling
- Woodward Governor system function, troubleshooting and tuning.
