o Presently working on developing and making a proposal of an extractive LPG treating /catalytic caustic regeneration technology - first one for my
company.
o Licensor selection for Hydrocracker, Hydrogen and Delayed Coker for a grass root 9.0 million tons per annum refinery for Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd, India.
o Process simulation and Basic Engineering for Gas Oil ASTM T95 improvement for a 1.35 million tons per annum crude unit for Bongaigaon Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd, India.
1996 to 2001, Manager
o Basic Engineering of a 6.0 million tons per annum Crude & Vacuum Distillation unit for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited at Bombay, India. Improvised the design to consume lowest energy as compared to our earlier designs. Did utilities, steam/power balance and flare adequacy check for this expansion for the entire refinery.
o Configuration study on Motor Spirit(MS) Benzene reduction and Diesel Sulphur,T95 reduction for three existing refineries at Panipat, Gujarat and Mathura for Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
o Basic Engineering of a 2.3 million tons per annum Lubricating Oil type Vacuum Distillation unit at Haldia, India, for Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
While doing this, solved viscosity blending problem in PROII simulator.
o Residual process/detailed engineering of a 1.2 million tons per annum once through Hydrocracker (licensed by Chevron, USA ) at Mathura, India, for
Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
o Basic Engineering of Utilities/Offsite and 840 tons per day of Sour Water Stripper for Mathura Refinery, India, for Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
1992 to 1996, Deputy Manager
o Worked jointly with Chevron (USA) in Basic Engineering of a 1.1 million tons per annum full conversion Hydrocracker at Numaligarh, India, for
Numaligarh Refineries Limited.
o Basic Engineering of a 306,000 tons per annum Vacuum Residue feed Delayed Coker at Numaligarh, India, for Numaligarh Refineries Limited.
o Basic Engineering of a new 1.35 million tons per annum Crude Distillation unit at Bongaigaon, India, for Bongaigaon Refineries & Petrochemicals Limited.
Basic Engineering of a new cooling water system and adequacy check of existing flare system of the refinery.
o Detailed Project Report for expansion of a Delayed Coker from 336,000 to 440,000 tons per annum at Guwahati, India, for Indian Oil Corporation
