March, 02 & Onward ADMA – OPCO ( MAJOR OFFSHORE OIL COMPANY)- ABUDHABI Mechanical Engineer
Joined as a Mechanical engineer and initiated the activity of engineering for Revamping of wellhead tower, installation of low expansion foam system for collector separator platform, Replacement of 30” NPS dump header water injection barge and modification of open drain system of Gas gathering platform. Also involved in plant modification works.
May, 01 to Feb., 02 GASCO ( MAJOR ONSHORE GAS COMPANY) - ABUDHABI Senior Mechanical Engineer
Served as Project / Discipline engineer for various small projects for ASAB, BUHASA, and BAB Gas (NGL ) Processing Plants. The projects handled are as follows: -1) Installation of thirty (30) nos. valves during nineteen(19) days shut down in the existing Air Cooler Modules inlet and outlet line for ASAB plant.2) FEED study for the replacement of existing corroded C.S firewater network with GRE, BUHASA and BAB plant.3) Replacement of 24” NPS one (1) kilometer carbon steel IP (intermediate pressure) transfer line, ASAB plant.4) Replacement of Flare tip for Burn Pit - B, BAB plant.5) Installation of the new ductwork for Regeneration Gas Heaters, BAB plant Activities involved preparation of contract document, preparation of FEED (Front End Engineering Design) document, evaluation of technical bids, review vendor and consultant’s all engineering document, preparation of material specification and procurement of all materials covering bid evaluation, resolve all technical issues and liase with different disciplines.
March, 96 to May, 01 ADMA-OPCO ( MAJOR OFFSHORE OIL COMPANY)- ABUDHABI Mechanical Engineer
Served five(5) years and executed various projects i.e. Installation of 80000 lbs./hr capacity two (2) nos. Gas Fired Boilers and their utilities, Fuel gas facilities, Boiler blow down system, Installation of crude oil loading pump, Replacement of C.S. pipework with GRE, Injection of effluent water and Scale inhibitor, Upgrading drainage system, Vital underground system, Modification of Full surface fire water system piping network, Revamping of flare system, Open and closed drain system and Overhaul of crude oil storage tanks & spheroids. In addition to the above I had executed numerous Work requests (studies of the systems) and all Plant modifications. General activities include review of consultant’s all mechanical works (stress analysis, design calculations) for running projects, carrying out detailed engineering work for in-house projects, preparation of technical specification, attending HAZOP / PHSER , preparation of FEED document, pretender site visit, contract follow-up, coordination with inter-discipline, requisitioning & bid evaluation, preparation of scope of work, statement of requirement, project strategy and assisting engineering services for preparation of engineering drawings.
