- Had visited data room for evaluation of potential of two different oil and gas field for ONGC Videsh Limited in December 2004 and detailed the management about its prospect.
Evaluation of Marginal offshore reservoirs
* Analyzed the gas and oil production potential of a multi-layered offshore reservoir closed due to blow-out through reservoir simulation on CMG-IMEX
Performance Evaluation of B-55 offshore gas field
* Working on compositional model of Gas-Condensate reservoir B-55.
* Matched the laboratory experiment on CMG-WINPROP. Frozen the fine tuned EOS and varied the mixing Gas Condensate Ratio to estimate the condensate behaviour by matching the estimated Dew point with initial Reservoir Pressure.
* Built up the simulation model using Gas Condensate option of CMG-IMEX.
* Worked out various development scenario with THP control for future development
Reviewing, Updating existing reservoir simulation model of Vasai East for urgent development planning.

MHN L-III Reservoir: Performance Monitoring and redistribution of water injection for the changing development strategy
* Optimization of proposed locations by analysis of various properties through available up-scaled simulation model on ECLIPSE in view of the changing drilling and completion technologies.
* Identification of undrained or bypassed oil areas with conceptualizations of suitable exploitation strategy for optimum recovery
* Prepared detailed plan for redistribution of water injection through well wise, layer wise and sector wise analysis. Suggested remedial measures for oil production enhancement
Evaluation of marginal fields in western offshore of India
* Assessed hydrocarbon production potential of D-18 reservoir by making a reservoir simulation model on ECLIPSE.
* Evaluated WO-24 reservoir for simultaneous oil and gas production. Simulation work done on CMG-IMEX.

2002-03
Prepared a development scheme for a fractured basement reservoir of Borholla & Changpang oil field by simulating the reservoir in IMEX. Integrated the study with development activities of overlying multi layered Kopili and Sylhet under saturated sandstone reservoirs.

Worked on laboratory investigation of Water alternate Gas (WAG) injection of Nada field a sandstone reservoir with high permeability. Devised procedure to carry out SWAG (Simultaneous water and gas) injection laboratory study.

2001-02
Prepared reservoir simulation model in ECLIPSE for Geleki TS-3A, a tight sandstone reservoir in north-eastern part of India. The wide variation in oil water contacts in different faulted blocks was effectively tackled using varying capillary forces, by establishing fluid flow equilibrium while examining inter block communications.

1998-2001
Converted the available simulation model of MHN L-III on CMG-IMEX to ECLIPSE
* Updated the simulation model
* Explored the Eclipse software
* Used this model as base work to expedite the simulation work on redevelopment with Gaffney, Cline and Associates, UK.
* Carried out a fresh field scale Reservoir simulation for "Redevelopment of Mumbai High North L-III reservoir" on ECLIPSE from fine scale model. Mumbai High North Field is a giant multi-layered, saturated, carbonate field located in western offshore of India.
* This work was executed in association with Gaffney, Cline and Associates, UK.
* Worked in a Multi-disciplinary team towards building the geological framework and explaining the heterogeneity of the reservoir.
* Use of RFT, PLT, Testing, WOJ and Tracer survey data for history matching in addition to the conventional parameters.
* Coupling of vertical flow data in Performance prediction.
* Development planning of new iputs viz, producers, injectors, water injection capacity, additional gas lift gas requirement, etc.

1997-98:
Carried out reservoir simulation study of Mumbai High North L-II on CMG-IMEX with an entirely fresh team of reservoir engineers. Helped team members in learning intricacies of reservoir simulation.

1995-97:
Reservoir simulation study of Mumbai High South L-III reservoir
* Established methods to analyze sector wise layer wise performance monitoring.
* Worked on preparation of geological model, setting up 3D-3 phase simulation model on CMG-IMEX. Sorted out the structural problems of map overlapping.
* Collection and validation of production, injection and pressure data.
* Carried out well-to-well performance analysis using RFT, PLT and WOJ data, initialization of model along with history matching of more than 400 wells.
Prepared a reservoir simulation model on CMG-IMEX for Mumbai High North L-III reservoir.
