1.0 Almeer Technical Services Co. w.l.l. (ATSCO), Kuwait(July1994-Dec2002)

1.1    System & Services Division - Almeer Technical Services Co(July2001-Dec2002).:
    Worked as Senior Engineer (Services) and in-charge of the Services Division responsible for calibration, testing, repair and overhaul services for various types of process / analyzer instruments, valves and test equipment. Additionally involved in function testing, customer/ third party inspection facility for control, marshalling, local, mimic/ annunciator, relay panels/ desks/ enclosures. Additionally responsible for the coordination of company’s various analyzer services contracts.

1.2    Kuwait National Petroleum Company (Shuaiba Refinery)-(July1994-July2001):
    Worked as CME, for their Analyzer maintenance contract with Kuwait National Petroleum Company, Shuaiba Refinery for maintenance of Analytical systems. Had specialized in maintenance of microprocessor based analytical systems and had been actively involved in upgrading infrastructure in Knpc refinery. Has had hands-on experience in repair of electronic cards, troubleshooting of complex chemical lab Analytical systems and extensive experience on commissioning of upgraded field instrumentation at site.

2.0 Deepak Fertilizers Petrochemicals Corporation, India(1990-1994)

Worked as Sr. Manager (Instrumentation),Projects for about 48 months in construction & commissioning of Honeywell DCS (TDC-3000) and PLC of Honeywell for ESD system. Worked in Installation&commissioning of Woodward electronic governor, Bentley-Nevada’s PC based machine condition monitoring system, Anti-surge control in large compressors in the Fertiliser & Petrochemicals Complex. Had specialised in resolving problems in cooper-Bessemer make gas Compressors- Involved in commissioning of vortex, massflow, and magnetic flowmeters Job involved work on Utility Boilers, Large Turbo-Driven Compressors in Methanol and Ammonia Plants. Experience included activities on Nitric acid as well as Ammonium Nitrophosphate Fertiliser units with extensive automation.

3.0 Gujarat heavy Chemicals, Gujarat, India(1985-1989)

    Worked as Manager (Instrumentation),Projects in detailed Engineering Co-ordination and construction of the Utility Boilers & Turbo Generators in a complex producing Heavy Chemicals. Experience on MOD300 DCS/MOD30 System of Taylor & Siemens PLC. Activities involved jobs on H&B range of instrumentation on compressors, extensive interlocks on PLC and hydraulic drives. Additionally, had set up a workshop for refurbishing lined controlvalves and test benches for calibrating Instruments.

4.0 Saline Water Conversion Corporation, Saudi Arabia(1982-1985)

    Worked in Central Instrument Workshop for commissioning of 250 MW Boiler, Turbo Generators as well as smaller units within the large power and desalination complex having Siemens & Franco Tosi Equipment. Worked on “GEOMATIC” logic card System of AEG for Interlocks/trips, Fie-Forney PLC based system on Burner Management in Boilers, Turbo- Supervisory System including Vibration Monitoring Systems and Stress Evaluators, Control Systems that included “Contronic” of H&B, “SIEMENS” Controllers and Controllers of George Kent and Supervisory Computer of AEG -Subsequent to Plant Commissioning, was involved in restarting of units, after Annual overhaul every year – had hands on experience on repair of electronic cards in Electronic workshop as well as trouble shooting of complex interlock systems at site.

5.0 Steel Authority of India Ltd., Bhilai, India(1974-1982)

    Worked in Workshop division as Asst. Manager (Instrumentation) of the large integrated steel plant involving extensive repair facilities. Activities included upgradation of old instrument systems with George Kent Instruments and supervisory computers – Had hands on experience in instrument workshop with specialisation on Tele-metering, electo-hydraulic control systems, infrared pyrometers and nucleonic level gauges and a wide range of control valves. Job involved reconditioning of safety valves, valve-trims and process control instruments and analytical instrumentation.
