Worked as a consultant on a number of small-scale projects in petroleum and reservoir engineering and pursuing specialized graduate level courses in computer science at Concordia University.

1994-1998: ZZ & Associates, International Consulting Engineering Services, Houston, Texas.
Participated on part time bases in reservoir and petroleum engineering studies with ZZ & Associates. My task has constituted comprehensive review of open-hole logs, production and pressure data, reservoir management, PVT and petrophysical properties, simulation work and issuance of final evaluation reports.

1988-1993: Engineer, PICON Petroleum & Industrial Consultancy, UAE.

Dealt with specialized studies of industrial and petroleum engineering nature. Provided services of industrial supplies catering to government and oil companies. The type of products dealt with was broad range including oil field supplies and chemicals.

1975-1987: Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (BP&CFP), Abu Dhabi, UAE.

1981-1987: Senior Reservoir Engineer.
•    Managed all reservoir-engineering aspects of offshore exploration activities.
o    Evaluated all components of exploration activity among them: petrophysical characteristics from logs and cores, special core analysis, well testing, PVT properties and hydrocarbon in-place.
o    Produced two full-field development plans for two fields named: Nasr Oil Field and Ghasha Oil Field, both are located offshore in the Persian Gulf.

•    Developed programs for PVT requirement and PVT analyses, constructed schemes of SCAL for exploratory wells and presented evaluation reports of the individual structures.
Managed a system of correlation of available PVT and SCAL data to optimize a wider scope of data and minimize cost on future requirement.

•    Management of Oil Producing Reservoirs. Planned flow tests, determination of well performance, and evaluated reservoir pressure performance to allocate rates of oil production and water injection of individual wells.

1977-1981: Senior Project Planning Engineer.
Worked with Senior Management and Shareholders in drawing out operating company future development programs.

Successfully implemented billion dollar multi-year development programs that included all drilling activities and offshore facilities installation projects.

Responsibilities included allocation of resources in various departments to smoothly carry out operating company tasks.

1975-1977: Petroleum Engineer.
•    Optimized reservoir performance by appraising production data and water and salt content.
•    Designed and utilized a graphical approach to evaluate wellhead performance and BHP behavior.
•    Worked on well completion and wellhead design in oil producers.

1974-1975: Service Engineer and Operator, Halliburton Company, Oman and UAE.

Carried out major cementing and acidizing jobs.
Maintained high-pressure pumps and high-pressure valves. Maintained Halliburton down-hole remedial work units.
Negotiated services and contracts with client oil operating companies.

1969-1973; Petroleum Engineer.

Kirkuk, Iraq, INOC, Two years and a half in drilling operations, Deep and high pressure subzones, Jambour field (Company Representative).
